Now I'm wondering if you can extract terpenes from corn to add to whatever

Many things taste better raw. Everything tastes better off-the-vine.

I can't eat six ears of corn in one sitting.

I got my first fresh sweet corn of the season Friday and cooked six ears. I love corn. If there were only one vegetable in the world I would want it to be corn. I love corn, corn on the cob, creamed corn, corn chowder, popped corn, corn chips, corn tortillas, corn silk (powder,) and corn whiskey.

I cooked my corn, put it on a plate, sliced a stick of butter to melt over it, salted and cracked some pepper on it. Ready, set, go but I walked away calling no mas after just four and a half ears. I came back after about two hours for round two. I swirled the cobs around in the mix of corn juices and butter and bit in.

Wow! It tasted just like cannabutter. Not as strong but definitely like cannabutter. Hm. So I googled does corn have terpenes and the answer is yes. There were lots of long names and chemical formulae I didn't understand (Damn it Jim I'm a physicist not a chemical engineer) so I popped open a chatGPT session to let it sort things out. It turns out that corn has many identical terpenes identical to cannabis! I had to torture chatGPT to give me a straight answer (so you don't have to.) Here's the list of cannabis terpenes also found in corn:

    Myrcene
    Limonene
    Terpinolene
    Beta-Caryophyllene
    Linalool
    Phytol
    Geraniol
    Alpha-Pinene
    Beta-Pinene

No wonder I love corn! I also love that I wonder things and that today's technology let's me find out why.

My original post was, 'Whatever, man. What the fuck ever.'
Instead, I see an amazing business opportunity: G2F Coastal Delivery. Maaan, I'd pay extra for a service like that.

I always looked at those things as money that could be spent on pastries.
