Hey GreenState. Yep had similar circumstances with my parents. Had a few brothers helping though. Funny, I'll be flying out of Bradley in Sept. I'll look for the truck. Yea just trying to stay cool in this crazy heat and humidity. Got 2 plants outside, a GG4 and a super Skunk that are doing great for now. No chance to finish if this humidity keeps up into fall. Wpm and rot for sure. We'll see. Hope you made out ok with the remnants of Beryl. Heard it hit VT and upstate NY pretty hard.

I'm trying to figure out the sexist level, here. See if anyone gets in Dutch with our heroic growing mothers. I mean, every time a man makes a comment about childbirth, a woman makes a comment about a man peeing a watermelon.
I have so many highly sexist comments I am high enough to think, but not stupid enough to make. You get one of my thumbs because I'm having a good time with this.

howdy Bowhunterwoody I thought it was cute. So how goes the battle this year? I've been busy dealing with elderly parents, resulting in me spending every other month between VT and FL, currently in FL. I had started just one white widow and left it on my deck to fend for itself until I return at the end of the month. I seriously doubt it will have survived, but we'll see, I was chalking it up to simply being a house plant (lol) as I'll be down here for the month of Sept. as well. Still smoking last years crop, but it won't last through the winter. If you have extra, you can leave it in the Black F250 at the LAZFLY lot at Bradley (lol). Hope all is well with you and your's.

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so
I sat down and had a cold beer.
The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.
My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing,
and I said, "Nothing."
The reason I said "nothing" instead of saying "just thinking" is because she then would have asked, "About what?"
At that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions.
Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?
Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they know?
Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question.
Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really know, here is the reason for my conclusion:
A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child."
But you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."
I rest my case.
Time for another beer. Then maybe a nap.
