Good to know_thanks!

Me too, best thing is you can walk away and not worry about overheating or even burning your bud. Just turns itself off when its done. The only downside is you can only get about 1/2 ounce of bud in the container. But it doesn't take long so as long as you plan a few hours ahead you can get about all you need for making a batch of edibles or tincture. Its suppose to work on bud that has just been harvested_ don't need to dry and cure...anyone tried that yet?

TheGreenGiggler Thank you very much for all the clarification. What really surprises me now is that they haven't responded to you. I would call again if I were in your shoes; I've gotten help fast when I called, and I've had my emails ignored as well. I really hope you get your deserved replacement!!

That said, it was handy. And when it worked it was great. Given the durability concern for me though, and no connection after my attempts, I think I will try the sous vide thing instead... just doesn’t seem like it’s worth loosing sleep over when there are other fun things to try

Hi all, been busy sorry. For clarity, I used it in the recommended fashion it sat on my kitchen counter top, the one with out a sink (no chance of it getting wet). No surges, it’s plugged in when it’s used and the circuit is fine.
It was less than a year old, bought new and never dropped or mis handled. The use is about once a month, but the last batch I had to unplug it and stop using. It was on for a while but would not shut off, the extended period of time made it incredibly hot and the heat did warp it as well as burned the material.
I had sent them emails and made a call, no response.....
