OJH I started using my germination mat under the fabric pots to heat the roots up some. It works great.
So much that I bought another one to ensure all the girls have a place to keep warm. So the air temp is not as crucial. I'm only down in the 30s.

I figured that I haven't posted pictures of my runty Autos lol
first picture is of a sour hound ,I dont think I've ever grown a 4 inch plant before lol .The buds are very hard and almost golf ball size 40ish days
the second is of the two sour hounds both are very small . I think the lesson here is that don't grow this strain unless optimal conditions are achieved and maintained , cold shuts them right down
The next two are of my two criticals they are about 70 days and as you can see no pistals yet
The last is of my black domina it to is in bloom but stopped growing same age as critical.

Thoughts I guess this answers the question whats to cold to grow in 58-66 is lol, at least the bloom room is good its been 68 to 73 for a couple of days now with a RH of 33 to 49 ,

Thanks all I like the idea of sleeping with them , My wife has never raised her voice to me in 20 years but I think she would if I told her I was sleeping with the plants lol. Thanks for the ideas for closing the cellar off ,I like some of them but I have to be able to get through it to get to plants ,

I like the idea of sleeping with the plants. That's love.

Like abadtrip said, I was thinking that too. The white polystyrene sheets are like six bucks each. I prefer the foil lined foam sheets but they are three times as much. Both work great for trapping heat.

U could just use some blue board and foil tape make some temp walls I think the stuff is r7 per inch so u could easily make yourself a little room around your grow area.

Also if u sleep with your plants your body heat helps.

If that don't help it will be springtime again before too much longer.

I went to check on the girls yesterday morning and it was noticeably warmer but still in the 60 to 68 range ,I am going to try hanging something across the cellar to close off grow area that might get me a few degrees if I could keep it all over 65 that would be great

The bloom room is working its 65 to 73 now .
