Someday I'm going to have to try cloning....but I only have one room to work with....maybe I could start with a few autos on a 20/24 schedule then about 4 weeks later start a few photoperiod plants and try to time it so the autos would be ready to harvest about the same time the photoperiods were switched to 12/12? Thanks for any input, cheers!

That's interesting, it seems I'm getting similar results. After the last grow where the only small plant I got didn't have one I bought two more lines and another pump.
This time I'm running 5 of them. But, heck, I still have two small plants so that might have just as easily been genetics. I'm sticking with them though. I'm using 8 foot supply lines so I can move them around easily_well sorta anyway. Cheers to growing!

OJH, it's a good thing that she lays eggs. That means she's healthy and IN LOVE!!! For real: I learned that years ago with a parrot.

Here I am gushing over my 1 odd ball beauty and you have a house full of them. Great before and afters. I have never been that good at LST, I got the fat fingers. That’s why I have loved Super Cropping. It works very well for me but I almost died the first time I snapped a branch. A little masking tape and it is as green as the day she was born.

Looking good. Its always interesting to see how different strains respond to different training methods. I usually always end up using a variety of whatever seems to work in my grow space.
OJH_you mentioned that you are using air injectors in some of your planters....are you running air injectors that pump air into the bottoms and up through the medium?
If so have you noticed any difference in growth between them and those that don't?
I've been using them for the last 3 grows and they sure don't seem to be doing any harm, but the medium dries faster so I have to water more often. I think the benefits are when things really get growing_about the 2nd-6th weeks from emergence....and maybe thats due to the medium staying moist all the time from top to bottom, and of course the additional oxygen the roots are getting...lol

Good Work!
Looks like a perfect defol! I love seeing all the different structures on those plants! Great job training, too
That was a lot of work!

well guess what I did all afternoon yesterday I tried to get them as before and after pictures not sure if its in right order but here they are also I was able to get all the air injection plants in Auto room,I had to take 2 autos out and stick them with the seedlings over night they are almost done , I had to move the PC mother out of the tent and hung a light above her in the open because shes four feet tall lol15 Photos

Bushy is great for producing heavy harvests. And if the plants are smaller, say 24" or less then from my experience they will continue to grow lots of interior leaves even as they flower and if you don't keep up with the trimming/defoliation then they can get pretty tight and hard to get your hands in to snip any leaves that need it. I'm dealing with that with two of the plants I have going now. I've set a small fan below each of them to help prevent moisture from collecting on leaves that might be laying on top of each other and it seems to help. These two plants are very short_only about 20" and have basically stopped growing vertically so the challenge now is keeping them open enough to get some air and light into the interior.
I usually go with the recommendation to defoliate well a week before the switch and then 3 weeks after. But I might take individual leaves at any time if they are covering growth tips or laying on top of each other. This has been mostly the case with those strains that are primarily indica based. I have some Sativa dominant strains during the present grow that needed to get "leveled" so I tried some super cropping for the first time on the fastest growing colas and it didn't seem to slow anything down at all. Recovery was very fast and i'll do that again when necessary. I'm probably going to incorporate it into future grows as well as to help keep an even canopy which can be a real challenge when you have multiple strains grown from seed in the same room. I wish I had the ability to have different grow and flower rooms but for now I just need to work with the one. Cheers to an awesome harvest!
