little update...
went through and topped at least 80 main colas yesterday. no defol, jusr a few fans here n there. reduced the canopy a bit but filled right back in by this morning. couldnt read my temp/rh when i opened her up, lol. (now its hung 17 inches under the light).
everything is pretty much prepped for the flip, so this is the last time these girls will be seen under flattering lights again for a while.
im going to save myself a lot of unnecessary stress and forget about specific number of tops. im just gonna run it by "feel" and by what i see. its still gonna be just as awesome watching my tent blow up with a shit ton of colas!
over this first week i will let them bush up a little, but pick away bigger lower leaves, prune out sucker growth below before they wake up and shoot up. at the end of the week i will assess the growth and decide how much i need to prune away to control crowding.
they seem pretty unstoppable right now. drinking up 1.5 to 2 gallons daily, each reservoir, and thier color has been excellent in spite of all the recent handling. they really take a beating when i move em around under the screen.
well folks, next update will be bloom week 1!!! thanks for the visit!

ya, owners wanna sell. second time this happened now, so its time to lock something down. its a good thing tho, i grew up rural and the last 15 yrs of city life is really taking its toll. i need to go back.

24kt Gold, beginning week 2 bloom
topping last weekend really got em moving. had me taking leaves like crazy by midweek, lol. hey, it keeps them nodes nice and tight!
was up most of friday night supercropping everything that had grown up enough to bend over. i will continue supercropping probably thru this coming week, by which time they should have all got it once.
LuckyAcres your videos helped me so much with my supercropping technique! after SEEING you do it, i bent WELL over 100 tops, splitting 3 and snapping 2. (all survivors, lol)
ive been crushing and splitting like a neanderthal until now, amazing how fast they recover when you do it right! hahaha. thank you lucky!
nute change this morning. transition time!
micro, grow, and bloom stay the same this week, but i switched out calmag and replaced it with koolbloom liquid. (mag/sulfur). thjs starts the week @1100 ppm.
i changed my light cycle to 6 to 6. i wanted to cut out the hottest parts of the day but its just too hard to maintain that schedule.
