wow, good nap. girls are wakin up now too, boy are they pissed at me! even being gentle with em they take quite a beating when i do this. but trust me, by monday morning they will have forgotten and by next saturday they will be completely different monsters...again.
as they are getting over themselves i will watch to see where and how many tops are needed to complete the canopy. ive been letting a lot of side growth come in just for that purpose, and i can move and top them as needed. once i am satisfied with the cola count and general placement i will flip to 12-12 finally.
nute change tonight or tomorrow morning.

i can live with that. hehe. my gramma used to call me her little monkey. always finding me 70 feet up the biggest fir on thier property. sometimes id go all the way up where it gets soft. gonna stop there, breakfast got me ramblin and it could go on for a while. sorry

girls are all up and greener than green. no nute change til maybe tuesday. ppms still good at 1000-1100 ppm. only drank half gallon per res last night, probly from being beat up all day.
ordered co2 ppm meter this morning, amazon same day shipping was only 10 bucks so hell yeah. kept it under 100. curious to see if the crazy growth is just bigger lights n feed, or if my pads are producing enough to be an influence. gonna be hard to say tho anyway. first time with this strain, second grow ever...not much to make a comparison on, lol.
the proof in my eyes will come at harvest time weigh ins. 20% yield increase should be pretty obvious even over the shittiest side of average.
probly chill today and roll out the way i started. dont go back to work til wednesday, soooooooooo fk it.

sometimes its really frustrating being a new grower.
while it seems my grasp on cannalogic is increasing by leaps n bounds, i find myself doing newbie shit at every turn. im just catching my fkups quicker, lol.
after saturdays moves, i stared at them all day sunday. then yesterday i defoled again and started over. much better spread, lowered the screen much as i could. now i will see how much topping/pruning i gotta do to fill out the canopy before i flip.
just once id like to run a grow straight thru without the fumbling and holdups! if this wasnt my 2nd grow, i would call it an epic failure, because I KNOW how its supposed to go! but i am new and have to forgive myself, and im sure i will look back and laugh at my giddy new grower days. felt like a kid thru that first grow, lol.
changed out nutes today. same dose to @1100ppm as i still see enough canopy to support it.
co2 pads not impressing me. didnt come sealed and being activated by humidity n moisture theyre very weak. been experimenting with em. put 20 "new" pads in a bucket misted down, hit 3000ppm in less than 5 mins. put 20 pads in 5 days old and took 5 mins to hit 1000ppm. not too bad for the price.
gonna keep playing with it til i get the info i need to make a cost breakdown and comparison to the name brand pads.

ok, that much was yesterday just never finished.
the co2 pads. no good for this size of grow. after foolin around with em for a couple days, i figure if you put 2 or 3 in a cloner and it would be effective, but to put enough co2 into this tent i cant vent at all. i had like 40 of those things in there, shut the tent and watch it go to 700ppm and then fizzle, lol. oh well, it was cheap enough to be worth testing.
moved more tops around today, defoled a lot this time. didnt want to but god its overwhelming trying to make sense of all that mess. i have 1 more plant to move around again, and once im satisfied with the spread im thinking i will top all main colas to spread some love to the smaller growth filling the holes.

Harvester, I don't think you even know the meaning of "holdups"!!! Your grows have been absolutely brilliant and you were never "held up" for like 3 weeks with root rot!!! You should be thanking the cannabis gods for your immense green thumb and good fortune!!!!!!!!

teach, thanks i know i been super lucky and had big help here. i just really was not planning for 3 month vegged plants. during this time its kind of overwhelming but im determined to make this work, lol.

I haven't tried them but did alot of research on them. They just can't keep enough ppms long enough to be effective especially if you have to vent your grow space. A yeast co2 generator is better but high maintenance, messy, and smelly and geared for a small grow (2x4). An actual co2 setup tho not cheap aren't horribly expensive.
