Hmmm...... My first complete grow my biggest worry was getting caught. My first couple of years it was always about me and not the plant. It wasn't until I started reading books about it and understanding this plant that I came to appreciate growing it and gave any type of thought or care about it.

Great post intergalactic_harvester? AND YES! The veg stage is so exciting: each plant an individual being to be observed- watched even if you don't know what you are looking at. Each one will deliver - almost subliminally - food for thought and consideration each and every time.

this is how im topping off my reservoirs. averaging a gallon per day each res the last 2 weeks now.
kind of a drawback using smaller reservoirs, last grow i only topped off once a week, lol.

hehe, its my first experience with nute defficiency, figured i would share it.
way easier to fix than going the other way! changed em out and raised ppm to the 900-1100 range.

good morning GWE!
getting ready for a big weekend in the tent, many hours of work to do.
got the girls vegging like fire, fast as my last run during the stretch period...freakin exciting!
all yellowing from low nutes and light about faded and gone.
i added co2 pads thurs night. i cant credit this growth last 2 days to gas as i dont yet have a sniffer to check ppm levels. i will go get one today. i gotta find out, this new growth is ridiculous.
there will be some defoliation, maybe a lot. screen will be modified to finish opening them up wall to wall. there will be lots of pruning and some topping, i need 40-50 more tops to achieve my canopy goal.

im getting a little nervous about height limits. ive kept these plants pretty small, but they ARE 3 months vegged, and i feel that there will be a lot of power pushing a controlled number of colas. all good tho, im not gonna feel bad about punching a couple holes thru the top of the tent and bolt that light to the ceiling to get the last 6 inches! but only if i gotta, lol.

these are my plans. i will post as i get time over this weekend. im also posting some pics from this morning to show off the growth, and to serve as the "before" shots of project progress.
