Really cool! I love it when plants grow outside of the norm. Please post your harvest pics.
Does your county fair have a weed or bud competition in its horticulture division? Ours doesn’t yet, but I think it would be fun😎
Hello Beeman. Do you harvest and consume your elderberries, YUM!

No I have not. But would like to try problem is the birds beat me to them..
You were so kind and gave very important information. May I please lean on you again? I’ll be sharing some great photos with you as my grows are quite impressive so far. Question and answers. Yes, I have controllers for both my 8” Vivosun exhaust and California Lightworks Solar System 550. That 550 has been great. Love the spectrum control. But realizing it will not be enough for my 5X10. I could daisy chain another 550 or invest in another light and another controller (not my first choice). Your thoughts on this? Do you think the 550 is good enough (if having two)? Transplanting outdoors and smashing it! Four left in tent doing very well now with room (did Scrogging) and better light over them. If things continue, it’s going to be a banner grow!

If you like the light I say another would work for that space. The manufacturer says 6x6 veg area and 4x4 flower area per 550 light so 2 should be pretty good for your 5x10. Maybe a bit of loss around the edges but you can always keep the plants under a bit smaller foot print if needed.
Sounds like you’re pretty set up, i would recommend a par meter or par meter app for your phone to judge light levels accurately. I use the Photone App , with and IPhone its very accurate. There are a couple meters now that are good and less expensive than the benchmark Apogee if you want something stand alone.
Your outdoor plants look amazing , keep doing what your doing
Hello all master class grads. Chipmunk here. Do the classes focus on one way or method of growing ganja? I don't really want to change my growing method much because it supplies me in top shelf bud w/o buying from the ganja shops! I consistently get 1.5 ozs of quality bud/sqft of grow tent space and I don't think that's too bad. I just know I have some room for improvement. Maybe hit the 2ozs/sqft or 2.5 like golfnrl did! Thanx
Hey Woody wuts up, i was wondering if you started leaving plants out overnite yet. i have some started that are about 8" tall and have been setting them out daytime for 6-7 hours but the wind has me worried

Yea mine is out for good in its final home since the third of June. I was gone today for that storm but it seems to have weathered it ok. It just looks over watered. Its pretty big though, like 30 "tall and 30 "round with really thick stems. Now as long as the wpm stays away. Usually I move them under the porch for bad weather but I got stuck out for an hr too long. You should be fine. Just try to keep them dry. In the future if you want, just tap my avatar and private message me. Its private. Anyone can see a visitor message. But this is OK too.

Hello golfnrl. Chipmunk here. I hope this question reaches you this time. I struggle so much trying to navigate the forum! And I imagine that will make me leave you fine people. Anyway, you said you took Nebulas Master Class. Did the class help you improve your garden without many changes? Or did the class push a big change in your setup causing you to feel kind of like a newbie again? I don't know if the class is for me. I like to keep it simple. I can get 5-6 ozs of quality ganja from a 2ft tall plant consistently. I grow 3-4 plants at a time and all that keeps me smokin! I just know I have room for improvement maybe w/o much change. I have not quite reached that mathematical target of 2ozs/sqft of grow tent space. If I ever hit that 2.5 mark like you did, I would be one happy Toker! Thanx
Hello golfnrl. Chipmunk here. You said you took Nebulas master class. Did the class greatly improve your current grow methods, or did you have to learn 50% over again to bump up your game? I don't know if I want to change much of what I do now. I do like simple! I feel good that I can yield 5-6 ozs of quality ganja from a 2ft tall plant, but I know there is more room for me to grow before my time runs out. I just don't know if the class is for me. Thanx much!
Welcome OLFarte57. Chipmunk here. I'm new to the forum also and you're in a good spot for great info! Many older people here also. I am 1950. Good luck with your ganja garden!
I’m having weird germination issues. This spring I bought seeds from Northatlantic seed co. I bought 5- Purpz ( HSC ). I had 5-orange cream pops purchased from HSC, and 5-Barney’s farm cherry poppers. I’m using 1/2 gallon pots with recycled soil amended with parboiled ricehulls happy frog light warrior worm castings azomite gypsum and Epsom. The core 2”x3” , to plant the seeds at 1/2” deep of just light warrior. No compaction, wetted to 5% , in the center planting core only exerted pressure to eliminate air pockets. I gave it 5 pumps of my 6.5 ph well water. l then covered 1/4 inch worm castings and three additional pumps of water. I had
soaked the seeds put a for 14 hours in which most seeds popped open . I planted the seeds , covered with a clear 18 oz solo cup with two pin holes in the top, I have a dedicated seedling tent with a XS1500 Pro Vipar LED. Three days later every seed had germinated except 60% of the the Purpz. NASeed reimbursed me. I then ordered 3- new Purpz, and 3- vanilla frosting from Humboldt seed co. I got three free x- bbc-vanilla frosting. I soaked one of each in a shot glass for 18 hours and planted in the exact same setup. After three days Purpz and bbc x vanilla Germinated: 10 days in the soil the Vanilla frosting did not germinate. I thought no problem I have three more seeds so I repeated this same technique with one shot glass and after 20 hours no seed cracked. I switched to paper towel method. And two days into paper towel and nothing.

has anyone had specific issues with vanilla frosting? Are they needing something different to germinate?
Long time grower. Switched to coconut coir and hydro nutes and haven't looked back. I even grow veggies in coco. I have gophers and they refused to allow me to grow in the garden so I put up a couple greenhouses where they can't reach my plants. I also use pallets to place pots, mainly fiber to keep the rodents at bay.

I've been growing Granddaddy Purple (GDP) since 2019 and I'm on S6 generation attempting to set the Purple line. It's been a labor of love.

I also grow Bodhi's Blueberry Hash Plant. I received fem seeds and have been keeping cuts ever since. Just can't let this one go. I crossed it with my GDP hoping for a berry BLAST. Instead I got Afghani Primo. A throwback to the 70's. Whole I wanted berries I am not disappointed with the results. Frost monsters too.

I currently have 2 Grandmommy Purples growing (i won the seeds in a photo contest) from Herbie's Seeds so I planted a few of my GDP's to cross and make "Purple Grandparents"?
Hello NEWGUY510. Chipmunk here. I have my setup in my basement, and the tents exhaust out a basement window with no carbon filter. I get 0 smell in the house, and I only smell my grow when I get close to my grow tent area.
Hey Franklin , when I saw your name I was thinking it was maybe Rosevelt Franklin from sesame street . 😂. I was wondering if you could tell me more about that weed you grew that really stinks 😷. I’m from BC Canada and haven’t smelled anything good since the 2000s . Cheers 🍻
