Nothing to do with weed but this is cool

So I was stomping through the woods on my property the earlier this week and was almost run over by a rabbit then realized a cat was chasing him. First thought was one of my cats Mr purrs was in hot pursuit then realized it was a cat named bob. Also a picture of Mr. Purrs

That is very cool. Wild cats are usually almost impossible to get pics of. I have spent most of my life in and around the woods of Virginia in prime bobcat country and have only gotten a glimpse of one. And that one was crossing the road.

Ya I was pretty stunned when I realized what it was.. we live out in the county a few miles from town. The wife was telling one of our neighbors about it and they told her that they heard that down the road that somebody found 2 cubs on the side of the road and called the conservation dept. they came and picked them up and took them down to the mo. River to the eagle bluff wildlife area and let them go. My understanding is they reared them till they were big enough to go out on their own.

I had one run right next to me to use a downed tree as a ladder to get down a cliff while I was hunting. I called kitty kitty kitty and it froze. It didn't see me and ran off. I heard it crying so I was assuming it was calling it's family or friends. They scream like crazy animals, nothing like a house cat. Was a cool day for sure. No pics but I took video to catch the audio. They are just starting to come back around my area now. Pretty sure we killed them off as us humans do. Hopefully they keep coming back.

Population is taking off here in CT. I get pics pretty regular on almost all my spots with my trail cams. The last Pic has a mom and 2 little ones.

Predators keep the herbivores away. That's a good thing, plus. There pretty cool. Momma cats can be unpredictable. Had one get pretty angry at me tromping thru her area, she has young ones. My bad!!

I was sitting in my shooting shack [hunting] yrs ago and seen a doe running thru the woods. Then I heard a small dog bark. It was my wife's little poodle chasing the deer. It was hilarious.
