Congratulations to Beeman for making sure his grow is legal! I keep mine that way, too. In ground grows in AZ need to be in a locked, enclosed space. I know several people who just stick the plants in their garden, willy-nilly. Fortunately for them, with 3 million county inhabitants, the local DA's office has better resource utilization than chasing down small grows.

Just playing by the rules, covering my butt. I can have up to 6 flowering,6 non flower and 6 clones under14”. Also have to agree to allow for inspection at at anytime.never know when the regulators might show up. Attorney says follow the rule that way that feds are least likely to get involved.

I lived in AZ. for 3 years back in the late 80s stationed at Luke AFB in Glendale. Miss that dessert sunshine but I bet it's a challenge to grow in. Over here in Virginia we have whole different set of problems growing outdoors.

Man this weather! 80s the last 3 days and today it's 30s and snowing. Oh well, that's spring in VA. Got a lot done this week though. Got the new greenhouse up and planted 2 cherry trees in the front yard. Uncovered my soil and gave it a stir, will probably leave it uncovered from here on out unless expecting heavy rain. Compost pile seems to have thawed out and starting cooking again, hope so because I'll be needing a lot of compost this spring and this pile is only about half way there. Will start another pile as soon as I have grass clippings to mix with some leaves and leaf mold. Most of my Laos landrace seedlings are doing ok but the one from the first batch i popped seems to be struggling. Will transplant it today into my regular living soil and it should perk up. The ones from the second batch are doing well except 1 seems to have stalled. They seem to be very hungry for seedlings but my seedling soil mix is pretty light. Click image for larger version

Suggestion; I used to build poly houses for nurseries. What you have is a good start. I would add more corner bracing. Also add a PT 2x4 frame at ground level. We used to use what we called 'Seran Tape' to protect the plastic when we pulled it tight and stapled it with hammer tackers. When tight it holds up to wind and rain a lot better. I have some left over rolls of tape, If you want one I'll send you one for the cost of shipping and a beer.. GK

Yeah around here some kind of fence is necessary around any kind of tender plants you dont want deer munching on. And they love tree saplings and young cannabis plants.

Just going with one outdoor plant this year and one for the tent as a backup. I'm going with another Early Frost from Twenty20 for outdoors and a Platinum Jelly from Inhouse Genetics at NASC for the tent. Also started a Vanilla Frosting for a relative. The PJ is back left, the EF is front left and the VF is front right, all at 21 days from seed. A little droopy on watering day. The back right is a Raspberry kaleidoscope auto from Seed Supreme at 13 weeks. Really thought she'd be done by now. She looks like shit but she's still drinking and the buds still aren't ready.

An update on the Highland Laos landraces. This grow has definitely been a learning experience. Had a few problems in the beginning with the soil and the plants taking forever to show sex. But got them pretty much straitined out and ended up with 3 females. The stretch on these girls is amazing. I was expecting it but it's still wild to watch. They have been on 12/12 since 3/30 and still reaching for the stars. Have to do lst almost everyday. I still have the option of moving the fan and filter outside the tent but hoping that won't be necessary. Click image for larger version

That's a cool looking girl. I see the clips doin' their thang. I'll bet she stretches 3-4 times her height from where she started. I know what you mean about moving the fan and filter outside the tent. I have not done that but a couple of times with a 100% sativa I have had to squeeze every single inch of space up to that point. I hope you don't have to do that.

Cool structure on those. Keep them going sideways. Are the white clips tied down to something or just to keep the bend in the stem?

                  #30
I've had to tie down a few of the mains but mostly the clips are just too keep them going sideways.
