The small clay pebbles are substrate that I bought for the aquarium when we bought live plants...

I have a theory, the pebbles are letting light into the system, that's why I don't see the root growth I expected, and maybe I have a solution...

I have the pH down to 5.9

All right,I'm going to get some of the freak show, they're a cool looking plant...

I followed the feed chart and pH the solution to 6.3, the first set of leaves are a little yellow, let's see how it goes...

I changed the water and gave her half strength nutes, I'll wait a little while and check the pH again...

Side lighting,I like it, what are you running above? I have 2 x 300 hundred watt LED lights and 3 that total 350 watts that need a garden to grow...
