first: SO good to hear your voices! Thanks for checking in.
Without belaboring the details ( of which there are many)...it’s been a bit busy.
yes I do post on InstaGram for @the_honeysticks. No haven’t posted on GWE for sometime- and can’t find my last thread.
KNOW I think of you all constantly (including not mentioned here).
finished the PurpleMobyDick ( a fine photo I just smoked)🤓
then finished Sleeve of Wizard (regular) from the Honeysticksgenetics ( best ever). Did regular of TangieCookies ( weird pheno) and seeded like none other good smoke tho , Bubba God & Tuba God (regular)- knew we had a love hate relationship after God Bud...did it again ...and the God series still send the hard hitters to bed.
This last grow wore me out as I was also painting my art studio, it’s bathroom, washroom at same time. Also installed new lighting. Also had two “fore-bumpers” face plants due to tripping- not falling-due to not picking up my feet. One required emts the other just uglier. ( all of which I don’t post on IG). I plan not to do any more regulars for a while other than Honeysticks. I will grow some photos along with them . Honeysticks is always good, unique and crafted...even if f1s.
NEXT: I will be headed to the Emerald Triangle (Humboldt County) CA 3rd week in September....to help out a friend having hip replacement on 13 acres of redwood trees. October will be the new grow and I am eager for it but also enjoying break from the tent- I need it.
Planning on a first run of shrooms as well...all new to me.

Wishing your friend the best, I had both my hips replaced at the same time 11 years ago. The surgery has come a long ways since.
Heck, my Mom, 82 yo, just had a shoulder replaced(now 2 shoulders,2 knees and 1 hip (lol))...and she is happy to be playing cards and knitting again(g).

Dig your weed!. Your setup in the last picture would make a great chandelier. Put some lava lamp on the screens. Maybe a disco ball! I like that one. You can never go wrong with a quality disco ball.

Dude! A single layer, see through hoop skirt with a disco ball underneath. Lasers on the feet. Still uncomfortable but a helluva show.

Great to hear you again Tika - I been thinking of you lately as well.
Of course your pics are excellent - not much of a bug person, but I know some of them are of value. Warms me up every time I see a ladybug on my plant. Almost bought some ladybugs last year but wasn't sure I needed 1500 of them. Maybe if I had a bigger operation.
And be careful of yourself - stiches are allowed but don't be breaking any bones.

Canuck I would dump 1500 on your plants as long as there is food they dont go anywhere ,some of the woods girls still have lady bugs on them and they have been out in the woods since beginning of June ,its cool watching them do there thing

Tika so good to see you here sorry about the tripping ,I dont feel the ground with my feet so I'm always taking falls .my hunting buddies call me to let me know they found another spot I fell lol, I'm excited about the mushrooms ,I would love to try growing some , your girls are looking great as usual glad to see you back, so if you had to buy honeystick regulars would you feel it was worth the extra aggravation, I got real good results from all my regular seeds this year and am not concerned about not getting females when I grow

Yes oldjarhead100 I would bu the_honeysticks regular seeds. I may herm, not have a huge yield, but the quality is always there as a surprise gift for growing. All seeds germinate (in my process), sometimes a weirdo plant-that won’t die so I keep it thru sexing. Love hearing your voice again too.

did you have wagon ettes this year lol, I used the fabric pots in veggie garden for squash,watermelons,carrots and beet greens(I only like the greens soI crowded out the beets )

Yes OJ did one Tangie Cookie (regular) outside. Strong grower her outside! She came down early with buddrot damn...but seems to be a fine smoke including seeds. Honestly we are frequented with marine layers all year long it’s always iffy on the outcome BUT when the sun shines...I understand why folk grow outside🌻

Hi Tika! So sorry to hear about your "mis-steps"!!! Like you I have been away for a while but unlike you I don't do InstaGram! Have taking your advice and now growing in coco!!! No more flogging necessary!! 😁 Hope your trip to Humboldt is rewarding. I watched a documentary called "Murder Mountain" that really put a negitive light on the Emerald Triangle! Take care, My Friend and keep on trucking (just put one foot in front of the other)!!! 😘

this trip north is not a pleasure trip per se. just needs to be done. I understand bout Emerald Triangle- folk have a different take on the “romance” of it especially my brother in law. He did a minor freak out about me growing til he actually entered my space., knew i had 2 elections out to test my everything, and it’s cleaner than most homes. The Emerald Cup although big is a bit of a hype which I commented on years ago and got the “ you rich bitch can shove it” response ( ps I’m not rich by anyyyy stretch). The economy in the area has been in the tank for years, lots of folk homeless, crime in Eureka. Where I am going is safe and lovely outside the ambient wild life for my dogs. Plus I’m not good at not having a project...taking a rapidograph & drawing book for my down time.

Thanks,Tika! I should have listened to you sooner!! 😘 So far, so good with coco. Just switched to flower light schedule so still have 2 or 3 months to go but really pleased with the ease of growing in coco. Obviously I have gone back to photo strains. Hope all went well up North. I have always loved the natural beauty of the Pacific NW!!! Take care My Friend, and know that even though I don't spend as much time here as I used to, I think of you often!

PuravidaC ... happy for you...very happy for you. I know what I do in process can be complicated in a heart beat...add this, don-that, do this.
I strive for pH and controlling the light & ambient environment. Thus far 19of the seeds I just termed are heads up...so I know my germ process is good and sound.
It’s getting to the space that works and more simple than one would think... always room to improve of course.

Great to see you back Tika. We so love seeing and hearing about your "adventures". Enjoy the Redwoods (as if I needed to say that) I also make the trip once either spring or fall so good for the soul. Oh the smells of the forest I adore which is why we live in one, at the edge I need to say. Dern big trees shade my garden

Happy Labor Day everyone!
bitter-sweet report - not going to Humboldt . Regret not encountering the north BUT it’s a huge monkey 🦍 off my back. I get to rip the shit out of the most obnoxious lists of to do/to buy/ to get done I have ever made. Having suspended 2 weeks of my “ordinary” behavior ( with the planning =1 month” ) just 7 hours into the change...I’m making a new list🙄 gotta clean out my tent & prepare next grow. Need to inform Honeysticks of change in plans as I think I will be getting a new strain to grow and want to start everything at the same time. Grow them and a few fems as backup. Review shroom instructions for PF TEK...which has to be in another space entirely. ( following The Psilocybin Mushroom Bible- informative and laced with my warped sense of humor anecdotes).

I must admit as it as it is becoming apparent to me: I was really tired from and pissed off with my last grow. Mad at my grow room. Huh! For some reason ( partly herming again and bud rot) and painting my studio, bath, washroom every day was some kind of ( as Beto O’Rourke said) fucked up. The Beauty & The Beast which I am sure everyone has encountered in one form or another.

Growing IS a LABOR of love and I do- from the bottom of my heart - send to you Growers Love and thank you for yours. Not sappy...just the F.....g Truth 🤗😘🤗

Happy "do no labor day" back at ya. Well sorry that you don't go to see the Redwoods but glad no more pressure for you. I've got a bit of a crazy weekend, but I asked for it so they'll be coming down the road anytime. Gathering at our property today "pot" luck we supply the bar-b-q my hubby is doing ribs, I made beans hopefully the other folks got the sides also. Anyway it's been a rocky outdoor season since the get go. But here's something you can appreciate
LOL my own weed wagon ran off down the back of our property crashed into our 7ft tall deer fencing broke threw part way tip up straight up hung up in the fence and threw 6 plants in the wagon out I mean it was a friggin wreck to see this cart standing length wise tangled SOB I go get hubby he's throwing a shit fit about having to stop what he was doing to help me pull the f-ing cart out and fix the fence. Lost all but 1 auto flower. Lost 1 adult auto, and 4 clones I took about a month or so ago those were for my indoor grow. What a scene it was. Labor of love uhhh not yesterday but the good days waaay out number the bad. Growers love back atcha Peace and Happy indoor grow this fall.
