A chiller may be a bit more expensive to run but it’s half what it would cost me to buy this product for my reservoir due to the fact that even my small tent has a 40 gallon reservoir. (I would require 2) unless you get a DO sensor you can’t tell if that machine is even keeping you at your threshold or 100% saturation. A chiller not only will keep your water cooler inhibiting bacteria but also allow you to hold a higher DO threshold at 100% saturation. So you get peace of mind and improved oxygen absorption into your root systems with the chiller. Any professional hydroponic grower will tell you 65-68 is the sweet spot...
