No more flogging necessary!! 😠Hope your trip to Humboldt is rewarding. I watched a documentary called "Murder Mountain" that really put a negitive light on the Emerald Triangle! Yes OJ did one Tangie Cookie (regular) outside. Strong grower her outside! She came down early with buddrot damn...but seems to be a fine smoke including seeds. Honestly we are frequented with marine layers all year long it’s always iffy on the outcome BUT when the sun shines...I understand why folk grow outside🌻

this trip north is not a pleasure trip per se. just needs to be done. I understand bout Emerald Triangle- folk have a different take on the “romance†of it especially my brother in law. He did a minor freak out about me growing til he actually entered my space., knew i had 2 elections out to test my everything, and it’s cleaner than most homes. The Emerald Cup although big is a bit of a hype which I commented on years ago and got the “ you rich bitch can shove it†response ( ps I’m not rich by anyyyy stretch). The economy in the area has been in the tank for years, lots of folk homeless, crime in Eureka. Where I am going is safe and lovely outside the ambient wild life for my dogs. Plus I’m not good at not having a project...taking a rapidograph & drawing book for my down time.

Great to see you back Tika. We so love seeing and hearing about your "adventures". Enjoy the Redwoods (as if I needed to say that) I also make the trip once either spring or fall so good for the soul. Oh the smells of the forest I adore which is why we live in one, at the edge I need to say. Dern big trees shade my garden

Thank you SoOrbudgal Things have changed for the trip ( next post) but- although I live in paradise I agree totally...the smell of the ground and the sounds of the breeze in the big trees is...is a “religious “ experience indeed. Puts one in one’s place😊

Happy Labor Day everyone!
bitter-sweet report - not going to Humboldt . Regret not encountering the north BUT it’s a huge monkey 🦠off my back. I get to rip the shit out of the most obnoxious lists of to do/to buy/ to get done I have ever made. Having suspended 2 weeks of my “ordinary†behavior ( with the planning =1 month†) just 7 hours into the change...I’m making a new list🙄 gotta clean out my tent & prepare next grow. Need to inform Honeysticks of change in plans as I think I will be getting a new strain to grow and want to start everything at the same time. Grow them and a few fems as backup. Review shroom instructions for PF TEK...which has to be in another space entirely. ( following The Psilocybin Mushroom Bible- informative and laced with my warped sense of humor anecdotes).
I must admit as it as it is becoming apparent to me: I was really tired from and pissed off with my last grow. Mad at my grow room. Huh! For some reason ( partly herming again and bud rot) and painting my studio, bath, washroom every day was some kind of ( as Beto O’Rourke said) fucked up. The Beauty & The Beast which I am sure everyone has encountered in one form or another.
Growing IS a LABOR of love and I do- from the bottom of my heart - send to you Growers Love and thank you for yours. Not sappy...just the F.....g Truth 🤗😘🤗

Happy "do no labor day" back at ya. Well sorry that you don't go to see the Redwoods but glad no more pressure for you. I've got a bit of a crazy weekend, but I asked for it so they'll be coming down the road anytime. Gathering at our property today "pot" luck we supply the bar-b-q my hubby is doing ribs, I made beans hopefully the other folks got the sides also. Anyway it's been a rocky outdoor season since the get go. But here's something you can appreciate
LOL my own weed wagon ran off down the back of our property crashed into our 7ft tall deer fencing broke threw part way tip up straight up hung up in the fence and threw 6 plants in the wagon out I mean it was a friggin wreck to see this cart standing length wise tangled SOB I go get hubby he's throwing a shit fit about having to stop what he was doing to help me pull the f-ing cart out and fix the fence. Lost all but 1 auto flower. Lost 1 adult auto, and 4 clones I took about a month or so ago those were for my indoor grow. What a scene it was. Labor of love uhhh not yesterday but the good days waaay out number the bad. Growers love back atcha Peace and Happy indoor grow this fall.

🎼 Back in the Saddle again...🎹 Yesterday Friday 13 Good Hedge Witch Day and Rare Harvest Moon:
Shook out 10 pounds of dry ice. If you have seen on GWE the tutorial- Sirius shakes out hash without a bead of 😓 sweat! I’ve ragged him about this since day 1 following the tutorial. I POUR sweat, I sweat onto my surface drops of sweat everywhere, I swear constantly averaging 1 profanity per drop. Hence my kief notations. Used 60 micron bag ( that is a bitch), 73 & 220 micron bags. 5 gal bags = 5 gal bucket. I woke up this morning feeling like I met up with a semi truck and then remembered I made kief ( and also mopped the floor ( as the stuff goes everywhere and I have a large surface and I have a green vac.)
Then: I dropped seed; from Honeysticks reg seed, Grease Monkey x Wizard Punch ( ideally I’ll be getting a few fems from them soon. Then: Bruce Banner, Peyote Critical, and Shark Attack all fems.
just to round out the day had 2 new refrigerators installed as one broke and the other due to break. Not that I can afford that but got it done in 45 minutes. Luckily my tent wasn’t growing yesterday but amused that delivery folk didn’t blink an eye...everyone has a 5x9 foot gorilla tent in their living room 🗽(still laced with paranoia tho).
Purple Moby Dick, Tangie Cookies & Honeysticks Sleeve of Wizard are being much appreciated. Seems folk are moving to the hybrids from the heavy stone of the God bud varieties.
Refusing to to put my âŒšï¸ watch on today ( and it’s hard).
