The Great Auto Showdown

Ok a first for me I had 1 plant decide to die overnight. Was so upset I didnt take pics. It was about a week out. I go downstairs to water and one baked alaska had all but died. ALl the fan leaves had died. The sugar leaves were fine. I harvested it and will probably be 7 ounces. But I have no clue. My other growers have no clue. Never seen that happen. The other 3 plants, one of the same strain were happy as hell. Oh well

It had one hell of a root system. Found no bugs and 3 other in the same tent are perfect. The roots were beautiful, the sugar leaves were perfect. It's like a black cat walked my plant under an open ladder and the broke a mirror. I'm lost. And if you know me you know I've grown thousands of plants. My grower at the farm has grown far more and he had no clue either

It did hit 47 degrees but my other plants love the cold nights. If it had hit 32 it would make sense because the leaves looked like they had been frost bitten.

Probably not topping (but if I do it will be the tallest sativa strain as it is supposed to take 11 weeks to finish) as they had a slow start so ya, only LST training to be more exact.

Your plants are looking vibrant, and vigorous still in the greenhouse. You are lucky the weather is holding out for you. My wife, and her brother are visiting their family in upstate NY where the temperatures are much the same as yours. She sent pics where everything is still green. I am at home in southern CO where we will not even reach 32 degrees all week long. Single digits are forecast for night time temps. Fortunately all of my flower is safe, and warm in curing jars. The only good thing about all of this is the grasshoppers will not survive this temporary mass extinction. I wonder if that species would survive a nuclear winter. Or would it be an almost total reset like the KT boundary.

I can say one thing for sure; if you grow Baked Alaska or Stoned Henge your carbon filters arent enough. Luckily I have enough cbd flower around the house to explain the aroma. But they rival any strain I've ever grown on odor.

Not sure if I’ll remain in the competition this winter. I’m not having much luck with the ak. I’ve been down a lot health wise too. It’s hard to care for your girls when it’s hard to get out of bed. It’s been 2 weeks almost and it’s still only 2” tall. I think I may have gone too rich on my soil mix. Oh well. I have plenty to unload still of gorilla glue

I hate it when life gets in the way of growing lol ,when we were young and bounced back from everything that made us sick who worried ,now its the little shit that really gets us sick and we bounce back way slower now ,a freakin cold can knock you down for a month .well I hope you are feel better soon there brother , If you have chest congestion get hold of some Mullien and make some tea if its sinus make a tea from eyebrite ,and if you get flu start drinking elder flower tea (or wine) 4 times a day and flu will be gone in 3 or 4 days Those are my top 3 winter herbs to have around in the winter

We finished the woods grow yesterday with the taking of the last 4 plants ,my friend gave me some critical kush clones at the end of June ,I was planing on using them for the next grow but said f it ,I put the 2 inch high clones in 7 gallon pots in July , we weren't expecting much of anything but I was surprised we got a QP from them ,as I said to my buddy it was absolutely free so anything we got was a bonus .
So today I am starting on the last 5 in the Green House ,its been a great season lots of fun and learning . These challenge grows are alot of fun and we learn alot during them ,So for whoever thought them up THANK YOU

JohnEmad both the Jack and Bruce by Seedsman seem to be really easy to grow and vigorous plants. I have 2 jack F21 filling up a 4x4 and a jack and 2 bruce in another 4x4 couple weeks behind. Heard good things about both but haven't smoked before. Hope I like it because I will have lots 😅👍
