That’s good. I tend to pay attention to my thoughts. When people pop into them I feel the need to reach out
Retodd I've noticed you missing from the forum. I was about to file a missing persons report. What gives? Are you just on a sabbatical?

    Regards, and good growing

Health has been for shit lately. I haven’t done any work for a couple months or started any new grows. Spider came for a visit and hooked me up w some CBD flower and I quit smoking cigarettes after 30 yrs, so that’s a bonus.
Thanks for the check in tho. Us Coreys are hard to kill

That's great you've managed to quit smoking. I quit 31 years ago. It was 32 as I previously quit in 1988, but the evil Winston cigarette company sent me a coupon for a free carton...really. I thought I'd outsmart them and smoke the carton and easily quit again. However they put the monkey on my back again. After that carton I started smoking Kools, and Camel nonfilters, and even Tiparillos. I was hard core addicted to nicotine then, and it took me a year to finally quit again. Don't give up, and if you have to smoke make it some of your good flower.

Regards, and I hope you are feeling better
I found the posts. Awesome pictures

That’s my niece standing in front of the gg#4 this past June. Told ya it was over 8’ tall...lmao
I have had a knat infestation from over watering. Seems i have to do everything wrong bf I get everything right. I found bug killer lights to be better than any spray.
cheap to buy and cheap to run. Unless you have a serious filtered exhaust system...run a bug light just to be sure.

Let me know if you get it. I wrote you guys a few min ago
Its been a few days since I've been here so thought I'd give you a holler. I finally got my Widows in and in the process of getting my closet back up and running but I'm doing a few things to it before I start like getting all the electric out of the floor and mounting both my circuit interupters on the walls. Mounting my Ballast as well on the wall and adding a 2X4 and eye bolts to hang my light and exhaust system so they want be resting against the back wall anymore, my light reflector anyway. That way I'll know it will be hanging straight and not cock eyed throwing the light off and keeping it mostly even on my canopy better from now on. Also makeing a runnoff tray with a piece of 1/2 plywood and 1X4's and wrapping it in Vapor Barrier Polyethelyne Plastic 12 mil. Think I'm also gonna take and up size the intake hole from 4'' to 6'' and possibly add a 2nd intake hole for better and more fresh air intake cause right now and through my last 4 grows I've only had the one 4'' intake hole for fresh air intake and that could be some of my problem. I also added a exhaust fan speed controller box by Ipower. I've give it a test run and it works well enough on high and medium but the low setting is way to bogged down to even consider useing so I'll only be setting it on high and medium settings. Well I think thats all and I'll be starting my seed soak tomorrow after I finish the last of my upgradeing. Talk to you later buddy, have a good night and stay green.

Should have done a private message so you could add a couple pix. I’m nursing a bitchin hangover! Drank too many IPAs last night.
Retodd hey where did you get a soil ph meter with a fertility scale ? I looked on Amazon they had the normal 3 and 1 meters ,I think the fertility part is a great idea

The one I bought is called the rapitest one eBay, but it’s not there anymore. It’s a digital that measures temp, ph, and fertility. I found another type on eBay, but it’s not digital. I did screenshots, but it’s not letting me attach.
Rapitest 1880 Electronic 4-Way Analyzer for Soil pH, Soil Moisture, Soil Fertility and Sunlight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HHLJQA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Let-Bb3FHE3VD
Here’s the one I tried to screenshot. It’s not digital, but it sounds like it’ll work for you
Hows it going Retodd? I appreciate your subscription. Ok you asked about the solo cups, man really I got this from the site. Reading Nebulas tutorials and the others. Plus to me they are the best starting pots for seedlings. What I do is start the germination process in Jiffy Plugs, as the seedling sprouts I allow it to develop its first set of single serated leaves. When this has happened I wait about 2 or 3 days and plant the Jiffy Plug into the solo cup and just allow maybe a 1/4 inch of the plug to show above the potting soil (Fox Farm Happy Frog) which is a perfectly well balanced potting soil for seedling growth.
Now about the HID lights, the reason I started useing them is really reading the tutorials for all the growing lights and honestly I just wanted to give them a try first because of the benefits they can bring if used right and the truly only way in my own opinion to produce a good harvest with the HID'S is to use a Lux Meter to measure your light levels and lumens, without the lux you will either not give enough light or to much and give your plants light burn. All this is my own opinion of coarse but I stand by it 100%.
As I said thanks for your comments and your subscription and I'll be talking to you soon, have a good night and a great grow.

Awesome. I did my first indoor test the same way as you did and then changed it up from reading others...lol. My whole thing is, as long as they all turn out nice and healthy right? Looking forward to watching your grow
Sorry about the horrible picture quality of my first gen iPad. I'm growing autofem white widow in a 2X3x5' tent. I use a 3 color true 600 watt LED light. I have a 6" charcoal filter I'll be running when they get older. I order my seeds from nirvana. I'm just going to keep a weekly journal. Today they are officially a day old. I did a overnight soak in rain water. I kept them in a soaked paper towel for the next day before planting them in my air bags yesterday. I'm using 3 gallon airbags from Amazon for both my indoor and outdoor plants. They're cheap and well worth the money. I use peat, guano, bone and blood meal, and worm casings for soil. I have it balanced at a 7 ph and 4 on fertility. I keep my tempature at 80 degrees and run 24/7 on the light. The only nutrient I use on all my plants is terpinator until they bud and then I'll add bud candy, with the occasional spray of watered down fish emulsion.
    Ok guys...until next week.
I'm going to start some white widows in my tent. I'm new to indoor growing. I have a 2'X3'X5' tent. I'm using a 600w led. Do I need a second light for two plants?

No, I think you will be fine with the 600W LED for the two plants. Just make sure not to start them off with the lights too close.
