The Great Auto Showdown

if you weigh out 100 grams and set it by its self then when it gets down to 25 grams it will be about 65% when put in jars, I dont use the Boveda pack to help curing, I just use them in storage

first pic last week 2nd last night ,I see a change in them , I just wish it was Oct and I was harvesting them, then I wouldn't have to worry about them so much lol

Blackberry and Grapefruit continuing to do well post defoliation:

Grapefruit getting noticeably fatter basically every day.

My Blue Dream'matic aren't getting any taller last few days so I think I screwed it up when topping and/or training:

Less than a foot tall and starting to bud. Seems like it will be impossible for them to grow very big without touching each other/developing rot.

Honestly I think this will be last round of autos for a long time. After a successful first grow using photos, my next two (using autos) were a real disappointment. More like The Great Auto Letdown for me 😅

Colombo Spidermite and I are growing original glue #4 and iced grapefruit for our personal competition. He’s growing indoor w nutes and I’m growing outdoors w nature alone. The glue in the pic is 6’6” or so. They’re filling out nicely.

My only problem w the boveda packs is they suck the smell right out your weed too. I stopped using them. I go by feel alone while curing. I burp 2-3x a day for the first 2 weeks then once a day for 2 weeks, then seal them. If I feel it’s too dry I’ll use a very small piece of apple or orange peel.

You wish they were ready to harvest because they look like they are going to pick your green house up and throw it. Those are some mighty fine plants and they are getting huge. Looking good my friend.

Dont worry some plants are short but they bud all the way to the dirt. And when fast buds start flowering they still have alot of growth left. If it turns out like my typical fast buds smaller plants it will be about 4 to 5 ounces when done, maybe more.

I hope you're right. The other FastBuds (Grapefruit and BlackBerry) are really tall and Blue Dream'matic is supposed to be taller so I was shocked to see their stalled progress over past few days.

Here is one that didnt get to tall but made a bit over 200 grams. It was maybe 12 to 14 inches tall at 3 weeks when the first bloom showed up.

This one is even smaller but will probably net over 4 ounces. Its fast Bud GSC.

These look great. I guess time will tell if mine will grow anymore. Was planning to do a heavy leaf defoliating regardless because nodes and leaves are just so close together it's a total mess.

I just went back to check how old the plants above are. Wednesday they will be 77 days old. Two have already been harvested. The smaller one above will probably be harvested this weekend putting it at 80 days total. I have 1 fast buds left after that but it looks to have another 20 days or so.

So far fast buds strains are the closest I've grown as far as the breeders timetable. Their genetics also seem to be pretty solid. I have not been disappointed in any of the plants I've grown from them. Saying that I have not found them to be the biggest producers compared to some others. However their descriptors on taste, aroma, growing, and type of high is right on cue. So overall if you want to be able to grow plants that do not disappoint in the quality department they are a good choice.

What strain is that again. Those buds look amazing. Absolutely covered in snow. And either the color of the buds or the color of the jar really sets them off. Forget bag appeal that right there is some awesome amber jar appeal. Right on
