New Grow room

What temp is your basement? Been 97 plus here the last few weeks it seems with 80+ humidity outside and mine stays 77 degrees and without the dehumidifier 66 to 70%.

Ok well I tried something new I turned off AC and ran dehumidifier for a couple of hours then changed it to ac and it seemed to work.I started at 72 degrees and rh of 56 it rand for about an hour (didn't time it I meant to but hey CRS strikes again)it read 40% rh and temp was at 80 then I ran the ac it cooled right down and rh only went up a few points ,the ac shut off just at lights out I have it set to turn off when it reaches 72 degrees.
Oh god no, now Ill have to read the instructions to set up the timer lol

I also bought a 6 inch y fixture (kinda like a t but its at a 45 instead of 90 ) to exhaust both at the same time, all I can say is it would of been so much easier to do this with no grow going .

Good to hear! Keeping it simple really.
I want to thank you for your help. Here's a pic of the pineapple chunk.

I took 12 clones from the tuts yesterday I want to run these again with out all the problems after the dgth challenge . One thing I noticed is I need to do a better job of defoliating them there were a bunch of branches that were not getting light and we cant have that
I dropped all the alien seeds should of stuck with the way I know instead of trying something new ,Out of 10 seeds I have 3 viable plants 2 alien and 1 blueberry ,and it was totally my fault all the seeds poped I just killed them ,I think I will take some bag seed and figure out the ins and outs of these seed starting bags I know I over watered them with root riots I have them down pat so its back to root riots for the challenge

I tried to get some pictures of the pistils but they didn't come out very good and the last pic is some outdoor girls they are the last clones I took from the black Zombie they were about 4 inches when I put them in the ground mid june ,I got a really late start with them but I think they will be ok

the guy that owns them keeps me from bitching about them by letting me park my rv right there next to my property ,that blue building is to store his rv lol

I bet if I untied/unwrapped the branches of my girls they would be 8 to 10 feet tall I have one branch that started in the scrog in the way back crossed the 4 feet of scrog and now is half way back to where it started lol . I think I will do another run of the tuts after the challenge these girls are amazing and good smoke to

It is107-112 every where around us so we are socked inccwith fog and drip and humidity...luckily not in the heat wave that surrounds us. No predictable weather this location...at. All...ever.

Been raining here for a week now with huge amounts of water soaking everything,my outside grow ( thank god im I veg ) has grown a foot and a half since the rain began,
Trees uprooting, flooding, high winds the whole enchilada up and down the eastern seaboard and it’s not over yet!!! Inland it’s even worse.
Hopeing things are going your way OJH, I have a question for u about your new grow room? And humidity. Was a vapor barrier put on the floor and walls to prevent moisture from getting in? And was waterproof sheet rock used in construction? All the best for u and yours lol

The Blue Board they make now a day's isn't bad for damp areas either, though Wonder Board or any type of cement board is better, since cement does not swell apart when it absorbs water.
It's also good to use a paint with a higher Sheen in damp areas. For instance, a bathroom should be at least semi gloss, since the higher sheen paints hold up better to moisture, for some reason.

good point I used green board (its the new blue ) and i pored a concrete floor , the next thing I try is to move the dh out of room and dehumidify the side of cellar room is on,then leave ac in room whats frustrating is often my cellar is lower rh than the room WTF I'm pretty sure that once I get the drain system to work the rh will go down but that will not be this grow so for this grow I have to get them though as is
