A rebuilt meerschaum pipe with help of a friend

I had an old meerschaum pipe of my Dads with a broken stem port I had used a stem from a pot plant and showed it to some friends Retodd and spidermite well retodd said he made pipes and he was going to make me a stem , when the stem arrived I was blown away handmade, hand steamed for the bend, sanded and he added some bees wax ,I think the stem is better looking than the pipe lol(it also came with a cleaning rod) the pictures don't do it justice , I had to epoxy the hole where the stem went and put a silver ring around the top to keep it from braking again now all i'm waiting for is some dark devil to smoke in it

oldjarhead100 I was happy to do it for you. I’m especially happy that your dad seen it before passing. Thanks for the shout out on my work too. They’re going to give me a weeks advertising on here for my sales.
For those that like my work here’s some more pix of finished ones and ones I’m working on. The two finished ones went to paganrich and spidermite. The dragon head and bowl are all part of a stand and pipe. There’s a tail piece that goes on one end to hold the stem. I hand carve everything and the wood is from my farm, 150+ yr old chestnut like jarheads stem and 100+ yr old apple.
Thanks for the likes on my work. Keeps my head straight

Excellent pipes. I have more than one of Retodds pipes. I have the very nice one for display and special occasions. Then I have a smaller hand held pipe that gets used everyday and is my go to pipe. As my dad said when he saw the pipes "its Art that is functional."

I'm still curing the dark devil but I did try it with some hash .I had to stuff it with a wet bud then put the hash on top of that, wheres there a will theres a way lol,so smooth ,its a pleasure to smoke,my wife commented on how much the stem cooled the smoke down
