  • Nebula can short videos be added to forum or just regular pictures. Jeg ask about starting plants and I have ten auto seeds that was going to show the process start to finish
I wonder if I might get some clarification re your excellent article "How To Grow Weed With CFLs"...I'm a first-time grower, in the process of setting my "tent" (actually a small linen closet in my apartment, room for two plants). In your article, you indicate that 150 watts of light per plant is optimum, and you reference a page on Amazon showing a 40w Feit bulb with a price of $12.00/per. But your "Starter List (CFLs)", under Grow Light shows "4x40W 'daylight' CFLs", total cost $32.00. The math doesn't add up, and now I'm not sure how many bulbs I need to achieve your 150W of light for my plants. I'm trying to follow your instructions as closely as possible, because I really want this to work. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

I will have to take a look at the page one more time, but 150W per plant is what I would consider to be the minimum, not the optimum. That will produce about 1 ounce on average. Please direct me to any typos in the tutorial, as I would like to fix them right away!

This breaks down the number of CFLs needed better: http://www.growweedeasy.com/cfls#how...-cannabis-grow

It gives a few different examples of CFL setups, and has links to all the bulbs. I hope it helps!
I just read your nutrients schedule, but was wondering what you thought about "General hydroponics liquid kool bloom". I am going to use your mix guide on my next grow. I am sure you get this all the time, but Thank you for your help and website.

Liquid KoolBloom is good stuff, but it's REALLY hot. A tiny bit goes a long way and it can be easy to burn your plants. When it comes to supplements, I personally think Floralicious Bloom is a really great one, even better than Floralicious Plus for the flowering stage :)

I have used it and Advanced Nutrients but for your my personal I like TechnaFlora it is the cheapest and I had tried a lot over passed years. I like Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice it is good and worth the money. But that is what I use.
Greetings Haze....as we Brits do like to discuss...it`s true...the weather (my mum and I always start off with it....: Is it cloudythere? What?I said,Is it cloudy there? What?Oh, ffs`)I give you the current 24 hrs period here compared to San Diego...hot, chilly, bloody chilly, cloudy/dark, light rain possibly downgrading to drizzle, more cloud, cold with expected: more rain, hail, snow(!!!) and frost.....all from the direction of Siberia and all within this 24 hours and it doesn`t faze us...very stoic where the weather`s concerned, try and invade us and we`ll kick you in the nuts but weather, happy to just stand there and become gradually damp....I could`ve gone from sunburn on my nose to frostbite on my toes.....anyway, the pics are that fused branch we nattered about before so I`ve put some pics here for you.......if there are no future posts I`ve obviously succumbed to hyperthermia and chilblains...right off to bed...night Haze

The first thing I found was this, which shows everything you've said. You can find it by clicking on your username any time you see it (like in this conversation): http://forum.growweedeasy.com/member/2554-oldjarhead100

It should show everything you've said recently.

On that same page, on the left, there's a button that says "Subscriptions" and that gives you a list of everything you've subscribed to: http://forum.growweedeasy.com/member.../subscriptions

Then when you're looking at the main forum (by clicking "GWE FORUM" in the top navigation bar). This page there's a button next to "TOPICS" and "LATEST ACTIVITY" that says "SUBSCRIPTIONS". If you click on Subscriptions, it shows a list of all the posts to your subscriptions. Or here's a direct link: http://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/...subscribed-tab

Was any of those the link you found? Once we figure out the best ways to view the forum, we'll make sure they get more prominent link so it's easy to find, but we're still trying to figure out everything ourselves :)

If it was something else, let me know and I'll find it!

Hey nebula, I have seven bulbs.4 are 13watt 5000k, 2 19watt 5000k & 1 14watt. But now I have a new problem, these pics are what I was looking at this morning.look at all the yellowing leaves.two days ago I watered her with nutes because I've been doing every other watering With nutes and it's a low dose at that. Been using flora bloom during flowering. I noticed a little yellowing yesterday and this morning it's spread like wild fire.sorry to bother you with this but what do you think?

    Hi Nebula,
I've noticed that the way I have my name displayed is not letting others tag me properly and I've been missing posts. Can you help me remove the space between Stoney & Tony. It looks like I can't do that on my end.

    Have a Great Day!
Hello Nebula_ I just posted some pics of an almost mature plant that has developed a few nana's....sad morning_ if you have time and can take a look at them- let me know what you think_that would be great. The rest of the plants are nearly ready too. If they do get pollinated do you think 5 days will make a difference in the final quality of the bud? Mostly cloudy trichomes and 50-70% orange pistils. Gold Mine is the strain.....Thanks! Right away I'm going to try and remove the nana's i've found and keep a close eye on them. But if you think I should take them down right away_I'll get busy doing that!

I put a response in your thread, but if it were me I'd harvest it, or at least the buds with bananas. If you can separate the plant, that's also a really great option! To be honest, I haven't noticed any decrease in quality in buds that have a few nanners, and I'm not sure how much of a difference a week would make, but I feel like it's better to be safe than sorry, especially if you have other plants! :)
Nebula, did you comment that my Purple Kush was ready to pull? How about my AK. Both are Autos. They are 69 days from seedling stage. Should I start flush? Thanks Nelson
hi nebula, i stumbled upon a grower that made some test on different bulbs, i was wondering what do you think about this, im afraid its a conspiracy to sell some metal halides :S
Hi Nebula, thanks for using my Frisian duck photo in an article about purple strains!

    Hey Neb:
have you ever seen this in leafs.
bright yellowing along the jaged edge of the leaf finger.

    -first week of bloom.
    -on older leafs.

can't find any pics on enternet that looks like this. GWE don't have this eather.

But everything I'm reading is giving me the impression of Potassium def.
not sure if a good dose of Cal/Mag would do in this mater.
Ph is 6 to 6.3 in pro mix with organic fertilizer
    so I'm stumped.

I answered in your thread, but if it's just a few leaves I wouldn't worry too much. It's normal for the plant to stop putting effort into older leaves that aren't getting light anymore. I would only worry if it's spreading to new growth or climbing up the plant!
Hello it's autumn here my plants have gone droopy and yellow are they dead it's been raining for bout a week will they come bak to life and is yellow plants alrite they 3rd week into budding

I'am a newbie to growing weed and this is my first grow. Could you tell me please! There's something wrong happening to one of my White Widow Auto. She is the tallest I transplant all of them 2days ago into 3 gal pots leaves started looking very weird on her. Other plants are OK.The temperature is between 85F-87F I use two LED lamps at 600 watt each in 4 X 4 x 6.5 tent with veg and bloom switches on. They are at 25'' distance of the leaves canopy. TDS is 1500 and soil PH 5.9 6.2 They were foliage fed two days ago with a little PK 13-14 and bloom 0.25% of full dosage I sprayed that on the canopy 15min before the lamps went off. They have plenty nutrients in the soil and are flowering so I thought to give them some PK through foliage. I'm guessing that she's may be to close to the light I raised one of the light and switched into a veg mode to lower the tems over the plant just temporarily to see what happens to it. Is it possible to save the plant or is it too late. Help me please!

I answered in your thread, hope it helps!
The kush is just getting dry. Outside crunchy inside still soft, so I got them in big zip lock trying to get the buds moisture even out throughout. Are you re questing I post a few dried flower pics? I'll get pics, next time I play with the buds. Thank you nebula, for the tips, this site, and the community.

Yes, I was interested to see what the OG buds looked after they dried. The color is spectacular! I'm writing an article about colorful buds, and I thought it would be really cool to see a live example of pink buds before and after they dry! In fact, if it was cool with you, I would love to feature your plant in the article!

It sounds like you are on top of it as far as the drying process :)
