    Hi,zig got your tat on my arm...anyway I was just wondering what is a AIT and why is it at the bottom of the pot? Never heard that turm before,inquisitive mind trying to grow better. Thanks 🧐

    Its called Air Injection Technology_ kind of a fancy name for something very simple_its like the air injection in hydro_ even uses the same pumps and lines, but you use it in soil... but I've found it works best in a very porous medium_ I'm using 40% perlite, 40% coco, 20% pumice & grow stones ( 2" in the bottoms of the planters). The air lines go down from the top to the bottom where the air is pumped out of these porous lines that let the sir out but keep fine particles from clogging them. You turn the pumps up, water them until there are bubbles coming up and "popping" at the surface and then turn them down. There are holes in the bottom which you unplug each time you water so its a fresh start every time. Impossible to overwater and super easy to flush. The planters are basically plastic buckets and it's really easy to make your own. I run four lines from one pump and two from the other.

    Current grow_ Gold Mine (Heavyweight Seeds), Ayahuasca Purple (Barney's Farm) and S.A.D. Auto (Sweet Seeds).
    Medium_50% coco, 25% grow stones, 25% rice hulls and worm castings.
    Nutrients_Advanced Nutrients.
    Lights_Fluence VYPRx, two lights.
    6x3.5' grow space.

    Use great white with just water. and use in 1x a week until week 4 of flower. you can't over use the stuff. -Please will allways be here to help you

    Steve, I was wondering if I could use too much so its good to know that probably won't be an issue. Instead of mixing it with my other nutrients I'll use it alone with PH water only. Why do you stop using it after week four of flowering....does it impart a "flavor" to the final product....or have some other affect? Thanks again_ great to talk and share our experiences. This is a learning process that never seems to end. Which is good right? Got to have goals to work towards and trying different methods is a good way to find what works for your particular growing environment and setup_ at least IMHO. Thanks for your help!
