  • Yes I do have pics of the plants right before harvest and have pics of the first plant I cut drying in my rack then I discovered the spider mites and totally freaked so didn't get pics of the other 2 drying but I do have pics of all 3 in jars starting to cure, all my pics are posted in my journal page 2 at the end. I may have set the actual journal up wrong, when I posted my weekly updates I didn't do a new topic I continued off my first topic of the journal so all my pics and updates are on that first new topic, I hope that makes sense like I said I may have set the journal up wrong. If I did I will correct on this new journal I just started this week with my Original Skunk #1 grow. Thank you for the help and patients with me I'm not very savvy with this sort of thing, thanks again.

Hey, thanks for writing back! I was looking at the wrong thread before. I found your actual grow journal and moved it to the Completed Grow Journals section here: https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/growing-community/completed-marijuana-grow-journals/190185-northern-lights-grow-journal It seems formatted great.

I totally know what you mean about the spider mites and pictures. I know that for my first several grows I never took any pictures when plants had problems, but I've come to realize that every grow has at least one problem. Or at least, I always have at least one :) I took a look at your harvest pictures, and your plants look great! You should be proud :)

Thank You so much for helping me with my journal I really appreciate it very much. And thanks for the kind words. I've got my second journal going as of last week and this time I'm growing ORIGINAL SKUNK #1 2 plants and instead of doing a LST METHOD this time I'm gonna do your set up traini g method of the MANIFOLD. I'm really looking g forward to this grow and trying the new method. I've always did the lst.
Hi there, Im in my first year of growing and just recently joined with you. thanks. I'm growing in a greenhouse in soil and the plants are doing so good that the place is full. Im ready to go to flower. i bought a big black tarp to cover the greenhouse when the time comes. The time is now. The plants were stared from clones. Im of the idea that I can cover the greenhouse for 72 hours straight forcing them into flower. I was also at this time going to switch the solution to the transition week of half grow and half bloom. Can you please give me your thoughts. Thank you.
i get this banner that says click the +New Topic button to ask question, but i dont see that button . where is it.

    Hey oldjarhead,

We've still been sending the newsletter out every Sunday. Could you possibly check your Spam folder to see if it ended up in there? If you mark them as "Not Spam" I think it's more likely to end up in your email inbox. If you ever want to check out old newsletters, here's the archive with all of them: http://archive.aweber.com/gwe-updates

Let me know if you end up finding the missing newsletters! We're happy for your support :)

i apologise if im in the wrong place for help, but i cant seem to find a button for askin questions in the help section. so..this is my 1st grow electric fruit is the strain, shes 10 days old today. shes in a closet, in a 40x20" pot that i made wit felt. the soil is an organic(i dont remember the brand) & is about 6" deep. a few days ago, i noticed these tinytinytiny bugs crawlin on my soil(they were EVERYWHERE), but i found none on my girl. some wer bigger & darker than others, & they all move pretty fast. i went to the greenhouse thinkn spider mites, the woman gave me a partial bottle of (i dont remember),but it specified spider mites. i sprayed as much of the soil as i could with what little i had. a day or so later, iwas still seein them but on a far smaller scale & i was only seein the smaller ones. i mixd a 1:2 of 91% alcohol & water & sprayd all over the soil. (this doesnot work..i actually saw 1 on my hygrometer & sprayd it, when the solution evaporated it began movin again..3 times!). then i bought some diatomaceous earth & coverd the top of the soil. i still see them here & there..mostly on the meter(i smash evry 1 i see). i apologise for lack of pics..the glass on my cam is broke so pics r blurry, but these things r so tiny that i wouldnt b able to get a good pic anyway, i cant even make out their structure under a mag glass. any ideas on what these could be?..& what can i do to KILLEM ALL? any help would be greatly appreciated.

What a beautiful cola! Thanks for sharing it, I can definitely see the palm tree :)
Thanks for the posting info. I went ahead and posted some "grow reports" not really journals cuz I didn't get it together enough to get all the photo documentation. But thought some of it might be interesting or helpful to others. I'm about to start a "report" on my current grow, missed the seedling stage again though....but have photos from about 3 weeks and beyond to present_one week into with to 12/12 now. Thanks again... and even more for your amazing efforts with GWE. You folks have my utmost respect for keeping your site "clean" ...no popups. no sidebars, no annoying advertising. Great participants too!
its the new grow room but I figured a solution I change the sort by to date started and then back to date updated seems to work
Nebula let me see if I can explain this when I sign on to the forum I click on my recent posts and they come up except for my new grow room and a couple of others the thing at the top of page says sorted by last update so I just keep scrolling down, when I get to the third page the thing at top changes to when post started. now when I click on it and change it back to last update, all of my recent posts come up even my new grow room and yes I just scratched my head lol

    Pretty weird huh
good morning Nebula I hope your having a wonderful day out their in sunny Cal. we are very excited its going to be above freezing the rest of the month lol
So I read your tutorial about growing in Coco the one thing I have mixed thoughts about Coco is watering ,I have always let my coco dry out but after talking with cana about it they suggest that you only let it dry out about half way and then water then it goes into talking about watering every day and sometime twice a day any chance you have done a tutorial about watering in coco or could you possiblely do one thank you so muck OJH

Hey Oldjarhead100, that's a great topic. Sirius and I will be starting a coco grow this spring, and we will make sure to conduct some tests on the best ways to water in coco. I've always had good luck letting the top inch or so dry out and watering at that point. In the end, the most important thing to remember that isthe plant roots want a good mix of air and water at all times, but the coco should never dry out all the way or be soaking. It sounds like what they're saying is to give less water at a time, but to give it more often. If you're using products from Canna, I would definitely consider what they have to say. I know that if you have a lot of perlite mixed in with the coco, you can water a lot more often. However, just make sure that the top inch doesn't stay too wet for too long at a time, or you can sometimes get fungus gnats. Other than that, as long as the plant is green and not droopy you know it likes how you're watering :)

Hi Nebula, I really enjoy the community you guys have created here. And the instructions, perfect reading material. This is my first grow and your website helped me the whole way through! Oldjarhead100 said I should send these pictures to you.
It's pineapple Express x black diesel

    Have a good day
I am wondering about autos I have some that start flowering in three weeks and some that take moth and a half or longer I like the longer vegs because I get awsome yields is there a way to tell or is it a guess in genetics more auto or more photo the longer veg same light schedule font flip to 12
    NebulaHaze
    NebulaHaze
Exactly, it's based on genetics. Some autos are ready in 2-3 months
(giving a few weeks of veg) but some of the new autos can go up to 5 or 6 months and are often called Super Autos or XXL autos (but not always). Luckily most breeders have estimates to help you decide which is right for you. As you said, autos with longer veg stages tend to be much bigger at harvest.
hey Nebula Sunday and Saturday when I logged on to GWE my laptop gave me a message that said someone with a bit coin miner was attempting to use my browser? and it would use up a enormous amounts of bandwidth? Makes everything slow down. I meant to send you a text but between up stairs and the cellar it vanished from my head .
When I saw the server down yesterday I said that must be what was going on if so I'm very sorry I didn't text you maybe you could of headed it off
Merry Christmas to you and Sirius

Hey, thanks for the heads up. You are absolutely correct. Someone uploaded a file that put a small piece of code at the bottom of every page and caused a program to run in the background as long as there was a tab of the site open. Luckily we identified the problem yesterday, got it removed, and then invested in a company that specializes in preventing any and all hacks. We also informed the company that makes our forum softwares and they're investigating and getting it patched permanently. I found out this has been happening a lot to all kinds of sites because bitcoins are worth so much and people are going crazy trying to find ways to mine more. I never thought we'd get big enough to be targeted by hackers.

Wow, that is really cool! I have never seen that mutation but it seems very helpful. I will submit these pictures and we will feature it over the next week or two :)
Just thought id give you a heads up about embedded images not showing in threads, thanks.
I have a plant it is supposed to be a bubba auto it is two months old not flowering yet it's sister bubblegum auto been budding for three weeks should I change the bubba to 12s
Good morning Nebula I have a question for you . I have some kush bomb plants in veg and yesterday while trimming I noticed that two of the four plants had single leaf fingers (just one finger not 3 or 5 or 7 fingers just one finger) Does this indicate a problem or do some strains do that. I didn't take any pictures these are plants in 1 gallon pots for next grow. thanks for the help

I saw you mention in one of the threads that you thought it was possible they may have begun to reveg a little. But as long as they're getting good dark nights they should snap out of it. Did you post a picture of them anywhere?
Hi everyone! (sorry for my english)

first and for most im a big fan of your website and thank you :) so helpful when we ve got some unanswered questions about how to grow those beautiful plants :).
Im from a tropical island in the middle of the pacific oceanand really novice in growing weed, im a natural garderner and do everything i can naturally when it comes to feed them and treating them.
Lately ive seen some change on my plants, they seems that they shrunk a bit so i thought i was overwatering them and also seen some some white powder underneath so i think that some sort of fungus starting to appear so i use 30% milk and 40% water of what i red apparently it can help. I use some topbizz as it's natural and follow the calendar as it say. Ive seen few white flies on it, some leaves been slightly eaten by crickets and couple burn leaves at the top is that something that i have to worry much about.I hope from the pics u will be able to help me a bit and tell me what i have to do. Sorry again about my english and hope you will be able to understand what i wrote.. keep it up guys you are blooming awesome :)
