    Hope it is OK to PM. I wanted to ask how you feed your plants? Do you have a thread on the subject?

    I use Technaflora just because I bought a kit to start my first grow and that was what was in it. But this season I grew a few outdoors and the smells and flavors of the outdoors plants is just so different from indoors that I was thinking I should change up my feeding indoors and see how that changes the grow.

    Any thoughts or guidance or links appreciated! Thank you!

    I don't have a watering/feeding thread it can be a controversial subject as to how too feed.

    Here is my thoughts on the matter,
    Each person, they environment, their schedule can very so much that what one does will be a poor choice for another, pot size, humidity, light size, ratio of perlite time you have for your plants, all play a big factor for the right and wrong way to feed/water so I have just left the subject alone because there is too many right ways to write a thread about. Most time when ask I just point people to the main site.

    You have some great results from the last set of pictures posted and the first recommendation is "if it ain't fixed don't break it". If you have been happy with your indoor smoke then spending money on a new system may not be the answer, If you are unhappy with the outdoor grow I would suggest a more organic soil mix and compost teas. Just my thoughts.

    Here is how I go about things but first a couple of details
    1) I'm in Coco, pot sizes from 4 in to 5 gallon, perlite from 0 to 50%, I feed, feed, water, feed, feed, flush,repeat, my growing cannabis, About every 2 to 3 days when my pots are lite when lifted. I use Fox Farm Trio at recommend dose (depending on the grow cycle)plus silica potassium 3ml, cal-mag 4ml, kelp me kelp you 2.5ml occasionally, i alternate root drench 2.5ml and micros 2.5ml. Sledge hammers 5ml if/when I flush
    One of the biggest thing to recognize for flavor is what is a mobile and what is a immobile nutrients, when to cut them and when to use more, immobile nutrient will not flush from the plant and mobile can be gone within a week or two depending on how much you defoli your plants.
    I would use up what you have up as long as it's producing good results because at 15 buck a qt. A nutrient line gets spendee. Maybe add something......
    Do you use any micro? Or a tea? Roots are were it's at! It can really kick the flavor in and maybe what you are looking for.

    Hey, how are you? How's the growing going? Sorry to bother you again but now I'm wondering about removing fan leaves during flower stage? Do I need to? I've had lots of guys tell me they do but I've read if it's outdoors you don't really need to. Just wondering what your thoughts were on it? And for now I've got the bug issue under control.

    I am good thanks for asking and my grows are always excellent.
    For outdoor defoliation it is a matter of humidity. The plant in the wild just does its thing but can and is at the hands of whatever eats it or disease gets it, you can help control WPM and ROT by removing leaf if you have high humidity, other then that let it be.

    Glad to hear things are growing well and the plant looks great.

    I forgot to ask you something in my post yesterday! I watered yesterday (and forgot to do a video for the other member ill do it next time) PH going in 6.5. Drain water on 3 of the 4 plants was 7.5. One plant was 7.83. I did not notice anything different except it drained a little slower than the others but nothing out of the ordinary. Should I be concerned?

    One of the best parts about this forum is that everyone has a different opinion and collectively the bases get covered for the general questions being ask.
    It was very good advice by you to recommend checking your calibration.

    Two of the hardest things to do here is get a detailed description of the problem and the grow space from a person, so it is always a safe bet to lay down a basic questions about something that is missing in the details and like you did in that thread, point out something not covered.
    Second is covering the same subject to second time after you just answered it.

    You're doing great PhantomSulker and you should feel free to help any time you can because even if you get it wrong, get correct by someone, it is still learning to help others and that in the long run helps you become a better grow.

    hey buddy I was wondering do you happen to have discord or anything It seems like im always asking for your assistance <I took what you said to heart when you said not to water for about a week today would be the 4th day Sunday till today MY lights turn on at 5pm so As i went to cheek them today I seen there even more droopy and soil is about 1/3 wet but one of them still look like swollen leafs like there is water inside her but that is only one rest look dry till about 5 inchs down in pot

    Yes. Sorry I didn't mean to not water I meant to not transplant, up your nutrients, defoliation, anything new so they can recover. My apologies if the wires got crossed on that one, if she needs water and feedings give her some.

    I'm frustrated. I'm lowering the water pH. I installed a 300 watt Mars Hydro LED. Took away my 2 x 40 Watt LEDs. Now my little guys are yellowing at the tops. The new LED is 2 feet above the smallest plants. I'm ready to give up.

    You can just leave them as long as it's just the tip, if it is 75% crispy them yes.

    Hey Mr.furley, I just finished a grow tent ScrOG frame? Thinking outside the box. and wanted to switch the autos into it at the same time schedule as they are now. I want to create more room for the Acapulco Gold to spread out. Would there be a problem with the changeover ? I ordered a new 300w LED light same as what I have to replace the temp light in the tent before I made the change. Thanks for your time !! Good Growing !!

    If you don't change any lights, timers, Temps the plant will be fine to move and most likely will not have any stress issue's. But a scrog is a waste of time for a auto flower, they just grow to fast to utilize a scrog to its full potential. I would personally scrog the photoperiod plant so you can control the weave time and flower switch.

    Put the white and blue widows in paper towels yesterday. Today 3 out of 4 have tap roots, so I planted. Hopefully #4 will crack soon! I'll post pics once there is something to see! Thanks again for all your help

    Knat infestation: tried vinegar, fans, fly tape, and minimal watering. Just repotted in fox farms soil, added bug lights and a top layer of perlite thinking the knats will be too inconvenienced. Opinions appreciated

    Diluted h202 is good for removing larvae
    1 part 3% h2o2
    4 parts water
    , yellow sticky traps, and a half inch of perlite is the best remedy.

    The Dark green- shiny look is usually a nitrogen toxicity.
    The spots can be a cal-mag problem.
    Before correcting can you tell me where on the plant are these leaves coming from top? middle? lower? And do you know what your PH is?

    Mr Furley, I can figure out this software. I posted pics on my page, I am having a knot infestation probably from over watering. I added bowls of apple cider vinegar, fly tape, changed the top three inches of dirt with fox farms soil, and spray with a neem oil solution. All helping. Keeping a fan on too! Still getting some knats, not as much as bf but still getting brown spots. Run my CFL’s and LED’s 18 on 6 off. Pls check out my pics.

    Nice looking girls Mr.furley. What training method are you useing? LST is what it looks like to me. When I started learning to grow thats what I used for the first 2 grows and flipped over to Manifold Training and thus far I've landed my highest yields useing that method. However my next grow I think I may convert back to LST and give it another shot since I've now got a few grows and a few years experience under my belt. Got some good lookin ladies there bud.

    Hey Trim, Thank you very much. You have been doing a great job on your grows, I have been following along although I may not always comment, you have been doing a great job of sharing you progress of trouble free grows.
    I have grown with manifolding, Lst, and Hst and as of late the style that works for me is a combination.
    I Top at around the 4th node and ones the growth has rebound every thing gets tied down Flat till I'm happy with the plant size for the flip. I will Lst and super crop as will as top again and defoliation heavily as long as I have the time throughout vegetation. Everything's out the window for the grow challenge as I'm competing against Autos with Photoperiod Plants, I'm just trying to finish fast with a moderate yield.

    Yes nutes, and yes remove a little and replace and The next time you change your water go a little lighter on ppm's, but I think your number should be good for the age. I think ideally you want to stay between 800 to 900 ppm's for the grow. But like I said your plants will tell you if it's to much or too little.

    I have a question about the feed feed and then feed and then plain water schedule? I think you had said to feed for two waterings and then plain water on the third watering. How long in a plant's life cycle do I do this? I have quite a number of plants upstairs, some are Auto some are photos, and they are all in kind soil, and for the ones that the kind soil seems to be depleted, I've been feeding Mega crop, and recharge. This is massively confusing because I have so many plants and so many different stages. Just specifically I would like to ask about one of my auto that the other sisters in the same see group or harvested over a month ago and this plant is 105 days old. It has a lot of growing buds, but I don't see trichomes. No idea what strain is plant actually is. It's supposed to be an auto. At any rate the kind soil efficiency ran out quite some time ago so I've been feeding like I said Mega crop at every watering, quarter teaspoon per gallon. I have a feeling that that is not what I should be doing. What I'm looking for is specific directions on all of this. Just for example, the feeding schedule on the bag talks about milliliters and grams. I only know teaspoons and tablespoons. Another member here told me to use 1/4 teaspoon per gallon to start and then go up from there. Do I continue to do this until Harvest?

    Big think for you to remember is are you using all of their nutrition line? or just one of them, because it looks like there's more than one for each stage of growth with different volumes. I need to make sure that when we talk about help it is broke up to the specific stage so I don't give you bad advice thinking we're talking about one stage and not another. You have a lot going on

    Now with the feeding questions when you get to the last 2 weeks of growth you should be flushing your plants with no nutes, I am taking one down tonight that has not had anything but water for 16 days. Other than that you should stick to the same watering program the whole time increasing newts from Young seedlings to full strength and then continuing to the bloom to your final flush, alternating you're feed feed water. If your kind soil is depleted then you should water that way. As far as the plans you don't see trichomes you've got me curious can you get a picture?

    I would also like to ask about you being overwhelmed, is it necessary? Sometimes if you have to many things that are new it can make the whole experience rough.
    Is there a reason you have so much going on? Can you let some go for the time been.
    Don't get me wrong I'm not saying kill plants I guess I'm just trying to understand why you're pushing through so many phases being a new grower If you don't mind me asking.

    I use a dry erase board to track everything I do to each plant. Just a suggestion, I also named each plant even if it's just the strain in the number.
