  • Thinking the replacement of the top 2 to 3 inches of dirt with FOX FARMS soil should solve the nutrients issue and bowls of apple cider vinager, fly tape, NEEM oil spray and keeping the top soil dry will cure my knats problem. Will add an exhaust fan with a gauze filter to suck out the knots and kill’m dead! What do you guys think?
Sorry to admit but I can’t figure out this blogs software. Plants started out very well. Now I Am getting some yellowing on lower leaves and a few “bug bites”? I am fighting Kant’s with NEEM oil spray and apple cider vinager and fly tape. I also replaced the top two inches of soil with FOX FARMS SOIL. if anything can go wrong...it surely does. Should I get CALMAG. Advice is certainly appreciated
Leaf tip burn and yellowing on lower big leaves concerns me. I have used a dilution of Alaska fish emulsion once a week. Thinking it might be two much. Opinions appreciated

I agree with Mr Furley. Cal Mag by Gen Hydro works great.
One of the growers at the dispensary where I used to work recommended Gen Hydro Flora Nova, Grow and Bloom. They are very concentrated and just a little bit can really help soil grown plants.
You may consider 2-3 gal containers or bags or they could get root bound before too long. It usually happens fast. Just repot into larger container and break up root ball a little when transplanting.
