Albany County here. Was thinking of starting a wildflower type garden for generations of self pollinating landrace strain And was curious if anyone had tried or thought of trying in effort to create a NYS landrace strain. If that makes any sense

As far as I know, there are no canibis strains that grow here naturally, which would be a landrace strain, like Kush, comes from the Kush mountain region in the middle east

The only North American landrace strains come from Mexico. Hawai'i isn't North American, but they have a few. Hemp is another story.
You can't create a landrace and once a landrace strain is grown in other than its natural environment, it is like Cuban cigars in the US: The seeds came from Cuba but were grown elsewhere.

I'm not upstate and only grow indoors due to renting an apartment but in the lower Hudson Valley/Tri-State area. Always willing to discuss topics with "local" growers in the New England area.
Started being scammed by www.lush.garden grow kit (Thankfully no longer doing business & link to parent company)
            Currently using:
AC Infinity 2x2x6 tent, 2x2 LED light, Controller 69 Pro,
T3 humidifier, CLOUDRAY S6, Gen 2, Cloudray S9 pair & Terraform control unit (AC/heat/dry/vent) Not in use currently.
