Week 7 out of 8-9 wk strain. Looks like harvest tric

My last feed was 3/13 and I was going to flush tomorrow, but looking at the trics it looks like i am spot on for harvest time. Should i chop or flush and give a few days?

Also i didnt trim the underbrush so i think i will have lots just below the top that isnt complete yet. Would like to hear thoughts on havesting a plant in stages
    1) cola & anything above scrog net
    2) everything else?

As always thanks for the time and help

Yes that is correct, buds not leaves.
Either way IMO it looks like your in the window, watch close 1 or 2 days now can make a big difference

So i was reading the harvesting and flush tutorials and it basically said going an extra week isnt going to do anything bad, so im going to flush with sledgehammer and watch the trics the next few days.

Still wondering about harvesting the colas first then 2nd canopy, then third canopy. If anyone could help on havesting in stages i appreciate it

You can definitely harvest in stages. The whole plant does not mature at the same time. Just check the trics layer by layer and take what’s ready

It is actually called a 'staged harvest'. Also known as a 'progressive harvest'.

This question is for the class:
A bud is sugar leaves, pistils, and bracts/calyxes. Sugar leaves are the point of contention. Pistils do not grow trichomes. So that would leave bracts/calyxes. If those sugar leaves are not part of the flower, what exactly are the flower parts we're supposed to be looking at?
It's the fan leaves that are not indicators. I don't comment on ripeness, but you got you some real fine ginger trichomes on that fine looking dope.

What I can see on those flowers, and buds are made up of lots of them, is your full cloudy/milky which is around max THC.

I wouldn't flush as progressive or staggered harvest is not really suited to it and it does nothing anyway but stress the plant.

Harvest your tops buds that are ready and get your lower buds that aren't ready into the light. Make sure they are not lying on their sides. It can take many weeks to harvest a large plant that is overgrown.

What do you mean make sure they aren’t lying on their sides?

I just gave a light feed and will possibly harvest more on Sunday and then maybe a week or 2 before next harvest

FYI, you don't need a scrog when you're using lst clips,I use them also for photos
