    Green house suggestions

This summer I am planning on doing a 6 auto flower grow and will be outside. Would love to hear recommendations on green houses. I am thinking probably 7 gallon pots or ?

    #2
7 gal pots would be heaps for autos, but then if in soil the bigger the better for buffering and microbial function.

There's some pretty cool greenhouses in the threads in here. Even one built on top of a house roof. I've used a couple of greenhouses but only for seedling stage and not for mature plants so can't really help there.
    Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.
Veg Cupboards: Two 4x2x6H cupboards. SF2000 Evo in one SF7000 in other. Climate controlled and automated. Hand watering
Aeroponics Low Pressure Bucket: 20W LED. 5 clones & 20W LED 11 clones
Lights: Mars Hydro FC-E1200W, SF-7000, SF-2000 evo in flower room.
Medium: Coco/perlite, 7.2gal pots, no drains
Current Grow: 5 x Photos Franklin's Orange Zkittles x Sour Diesel in flower room, 3 Franklin's White Widow x Sour Diesel Clones, 13 x Orange ZkittleZ x Sour Diesel clones in Aeroponics buckets x 2.
    Last Grow: A mix

You could build the frame with electrical conduit and cover it with plastic sheeting. U would have to price it out. supplies are going through the roof.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

You... there's a... bloody hell, man! There's a greenhouse on top of your house! I cannot think of a more obvious place to grow weed and tell the world you are. One great big F-U to people who don't dig it. You get a thumb because I don't think I've seen anything even close to that inventive, location-wise. I mean, it's just plastic and sticks... but it's on your freaking roof!
Well done, my friend. Well done.

My concern about that Amazon gh and doing one like you suggest is I get strong winds on occasion

Yes wind is a problem. Mine had 4 x 15gal pots and a good amount of lumber in the base providing weight.
Also consider no sides or walls, really helps with airflow and minimizing wind risk

Any kind of green house is going to be a big sail. It needs to be anchored to the ground.

suggestion; I used to work in the nursery industry. A metal frame greenhouse kit with poly-carbonate panels,. they come in different sizes. Put a screw in ground anchor in all corners and one in middle of each wall, for one about 6x6. I would add angle braces in walls for added strength.18"-24" exhaust fan on thermostat, I'm using ac filters in the door for air flow. A little ele. work for lights etc. A basic DIY project. Note; 4x6 starting at $175 on TEMU

I've been growing in a 12×6 poly tunnel for the past 3 years. They work great for growing cannabis but yes you will have to spend more money to anchor them firmly. I put metal fence posts on each corner and wired them to the frame and had 2 straps over it anchored to the ground. Also know it will not extend the growing season, a poly tunnel doesn't hold heat like a actual greenhouse. As soon as it's in shade or the sun goes down the temp inside is the same outside . Unfortunately the snow this past winter collapsed the roof so of course I had to upgrade. I brought a 20× 10 King Bird poly tunnel. So far I'm impressed with the quality, the support poles are thicker with more stabilizing poles. Got the frame up, hoping to get the cover on this week. Also you will have to invest in fans to keep air moving. I'm in Virginia and WPM and Bud Rot are a constant problem.

As shady recommends, poly carbonate is the go or variations of it. It's cheap, super strong, can be purchased as a sandwich panel if doing quite large spans and let's in heaps of light if clear and its easy to work with, no special tools required.
