And the WW x seedling has found a third pair. And the sativa is thinking about a pair of leaves....just...might change its mind.

Supercropped the tallest one, just the main stem.

Only required a few gentle squeezes and it just fell over, but it split length ways, bummer.

And one I did a couple of weeks back, the chemically topped mutant, no tape, just support. Split down the middle at the node as usual when topped too close to the node.

        Problem thread here

These are buds on two auto plants and not just the top ones..looking a tad shagged out. Pic taken 8 hrs after lights on and I've watered it a few times until I got a bit of runoff. They were looking the same at lights on prior to watering. I raised the light, was 45 DLI now low 40's. Any ideas what's going on? Temps 78 to

All cultivars are different in what they like but 22C is too cold IMO. I regularly run my grows between 27c and 28c. I've run the same cultivar at 24c - 25c and saw less growth and smaller flower volume.

My sativas I grow love it warm during late veg and early flower, they thrive in the heat, and pack on the growth. Later in flower I have to drop the temps for them to be happy and put on big buds.

These autos I'm not sure about, first time growing them, so took a middle of the road approach. They are handling quite a bit of light but nowhere near the levels my sativas soak up, If I went over 44 or 45 DLI at a stage of growth a week ago they will be exhausted a couple of hours before lights out and droop badly but they are handling it fine now, no droop.

What is interesting is the N stress I caused to one of them appears to have brought on early trichomes. Still stressed but it has improved.

An issue with the back left auto. Looks like N toxicity showing on bud leaves presenting as curling downwards across both planes. It's not too bad but it will be slowing growth. The rest look pretty good

You know that's exactly what I thought originally too. Because they do have Cal mag with 2% nitrogen then they have the 1% nitrogen which you would think wouldn't be as harsh as the 2% but it still seems to overload some plants with nitrogen. If you remember my pe6ople punch Auto from 3 grows ago. I was giving her the GH cali magic and The nitrogen toxicity covered up the fact that she was having a calcium deficiency and screwed up that majestic plant. Ever since I got the TPS one ... It's been smooth sailing. Not to mention I think the TPS one also has some manganese and some other less common micronutrients in there which I think you mentioned you needed. Yeah once I learned about the difference between the carbonate and the nitrate based Cal mags, I switched to the carbonate right away. It's just as good without the nitrate turning into ammonia and then into nitrogen. The only real way to fix it is to give less A nutrient because you can't give less cal mag.... Then you'll end up with Bud rod and problems during Bloom if you do that

I got an email that Dr Bruce bugby is opening registration for his classes in Utah State..... If only I had $2,000 to spend.... I'd take that course in a heartbeat. So annoyed I thought I was going to get better tax returns I would have definitely taken the class..... So sick of working construction It's not even about the work is the kind of people that I have to work with I want to get away from this field.

The slow one with the N toxicity appears to be slowly recovering rather than dying so that's good. I dropped the calmag with the N from its diet and increased the flower nutes to EC 2.1 pH 6.2. I didn't flush as I didn't want to shock her too much
Click image for larger version Name:	20240321_043743.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.31 MB ID:	617626

The other 3 are doing great, one is showing a manganese deficiency on a dozen leaves but it's not bad, even so I've reduced the calmag a bit and upped the flowering nutes as I want to reduce N EC 2 pH 6.15

Ive reduced the calmag foliar spray as I get it on everything, the most advanced one budlet wise is getting DLI 45 down to 42 on the others.

Bit late but I need to lollipop, those that Ive failed to accidentally break off whilst watering, and remove the lower branches of the buds that won't make much to focus energy now on top buds and introduce some more far & a bit of IR.

The photoperiod OZ x SD is steaming along but what it doesn't realise is it is going to be chopped badly for some clones and it really needs a haircut. It has pretty well spaced internodes for cloning, as recommended, but the top will be a large clone. It's very healthy. VEG + CALMAG EC 1.6 DLI 38 pH 5.95

I am of course running out of room and need a bigger one. I need to spread these out more and thin them which means there will be very little room for me to fit in there as well.

Looking great Bluey i'm counting this week for mine being the first week of flower. Yours are nice an green color healthy. Man fella i got these 2 really healthy Slurricane clones growing fast while the other clones are slowly rooting in. It's hard watching an waiting to see if they'll form into plants, my enviornment is pretty null of being perfect for clones. I kinda lost my touch with it but i still gotta hope they'll grow. I have 7 cuts now plus 2 good ones.

I plan on cloning that photo OZ x and when I do my grow room humidity will be low with a quite high VPD so I need it in another room setup. I dont think it will work in there moving forwards.

Bit of training, just pulling them apart

Nice to see the buds forming with a little bit of depth.

Moved the room around a bit today for better light across the young photos.

Finished the aeroponics cloner, currently running 25% iso diluted with water, fire extinguisher on standby, through it. They are not misters but more droplets that spray, didn't have the pressure off the pump to run the good brass misters, probably get clogged anyway.

Below is the OZ x photo, really healthy but N looks like it is creeping up so I'll drop the calmag back.

EC 1.6 Veg + calmag + Si DLI 42 pH 5.9 Temps now 25⁰C to 26.5⁰C day 23⁰C night RH 50% to 60% averaging 54% VPD around 1.1 to 1.2 Will be cloning this with 5 cuttings in a few hours after a few joints. Needs a big haircut, not woody so should be a joy to train 🤞

I'll start a new thread titled Low Pressure Aeroponics Cloner ir something like that. I'm cutting this afternoon

              #57
Dropped the EC from 1.6 to 1.1/1.2 on the OZ x I am about to Clone from, pH 6.0. No calmag or Si

Autos are now getting EC 2.2 bloom ¼Si no calmag. Calcium deficiency spreading but can't give calcium nitrate. I'm wondering if so little runoff may have lead to a nitrate overdose for them? I wonder if it follows a calcium deficiency? I did keep veg nutes pretty strong to them during the stretch, might have overdone it there. I need to test some calcium chelates with my nutes, mag will use the epsom salts if needed.

Two autos are packing the buds on now, first brown pistols on one. Stunted N toxic one won't produce much and the mutant I chemically topped is playing catchup, it's buds quite a bit behind time wise as they are slow to grow, much smaller than the other 2. Giving all autos runoff now too and large photo also.

Sativa seedling is a bit light green for my liking will up the EC some.

              No nute burn on any.

No3odiesShad0w I may have found a micro chelated solution in powder form I can add to my water. I need to run some tests on it with my nutes and see how it holds up

As long as it doesn't clog the lines or pumps you're using, i say go for it. The nitrate version of nutrients may not always be the best one

No3odiesShad0w This is a nitrate free trace element powder. It appears to mostly dissolve but does leave a white sediment that I stir up from the base of the tank each watering. It's too late in the autos growth to get much benefit but I'm testing it on them. Currently adding about 8 grams of it to 4 gal of water then adding in bloom nutes after mixing. Doesn't appear to be hurting them. I'll phase out the calmag nitrate additive during the stretch and introduce this powder when I flip my photoperiods.
