I don't like using H2O2. Kills off the necessary microbes that are on the seed itself. I'm thinking just use the vertical germinator I have and sprout... -
The hot mix is at the bottom of the bag so I don't need to worry until the tap hits the super compost. The media is wood chip based so a little different... -

If it's brand name soil like Fox Farm or Roots Organic then no but if you grow in pure coco it tends to run low in pH. -
I hang the entire plant to slow down the dry. When I hang branches they tend to dry too fast.
