I'm born and raised CA. Some of the best comes from them roach coaches, lol.
The place I speak off actually started as a taco truck in the next town. Ate it all the time!

You know what I love? Amber waves of trichromes. Oh, I'm feeling so patriotic! Or is it waves of amber trichromes? Either way I'm pretty good with them! Sadly, they are a couple of weeks away for me and mine.

Better hit the bong in the meantime.

Yes, but the damn creatures aren't getting into/onto/eating/destroying/pissing on everyfuckingthing they possibly can once they're cut, wrapped and in the freezer. I used to kill and butcher my own animals, which many of my generation and philosophical persuasion had a difficult time with. I grew up in a large urban area (Los Angeles) as did so many back to the back to the land hippie types. For my friends who had issues with killing (but not eating!) flesh (which I never fucking understood!), I would kill and butcher their goats, but only goats, for free. All others cost (not always money but some barter situation).

Gingerbeard, yeah, it's harder to eat frozen, but far superior to them walking around, at least in my not particularly humble opinion. And yes, I probably should have mentioned the cooking part too. My wife calls me literal man. I likely would have read it the way you did. HA!

I'm within sight of the TJ/US border fence. The best carne asada on this side is served from Mexican owned roach coaches. Find one with a fair line of day-laborers and you'll get the real best.
Maaaaan. I might have to venture out for a plate in the morning.

The little Hispanic joint around here cooks some mean chivo. And I'd take their cabeza over asada any day.

    Goat & cow head meat
(not brains, but those aren't bad either)

Frozen goat is much harder to eat than cooked goat. Gives a brain freeze if eaten too fast.
    Just sayin'.
