alltatup But where does it end Atu...take for instance `alright my luvver` which is Somerset spelling for `alright my lover`. Now, it could potentially morph into luva, luver, luffa (a small vine related to the cucumber family) or even loofah (which could raise concerns about someone`s grasp on reality or lack of friends)...you need to have a calm stabalizing and pragmatic appraisal upon the humble word and what better place to set that bench mark than the humble British-a meek and mild race. Let`s put aside this rancid talk of old colonial issues and raise our voices in recognition of the beauty of the English (note that word) language and the creators of said language so I shall leave you with this:

An Ode to the English Language

We’ll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes,
But the plural of ox becomes oxen, not oxes.
One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
Yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice,
Yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.

If the plural of man is always called men,
Why shouldn’t the plural of pan be called pen?
If I speak of my foot and show you my feet,
And I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?
If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
Why shouldn’t the plural of booth be called beeth?

Then one may be that, and there would be those,
Yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
And the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
But though we say mother, we never say methren.
Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
But imagine the feminine: she, shis and shim!

Let’s face it – English is a crazy language. There is no egg in
eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple.
English muffins weren’t invented in England. We take English for
granted, but if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can
work slowly, boxing rings are square, and a guinea pig is neither from
Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write, but fingers don’t fing, grocers
don’t groce and hammers don’t ham?
Doesn’t it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend?
If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of
them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn’t preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
Sometimes I think all the folks who grew up speaking English
should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane.

In what other language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
We ship by truck but send cargo by ship…
We have noses that run and feet that smell.
We park in a driveway and drive in a parkway.
And how can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same,
while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language
in which your house can burn up as it burns down,
in which you fill in a form by filling it out, and
in which an alarm goes off by going on.

And in closing, if Father is Pop, how come Mother’s not Mop?

Pagan, the reasoun that the sun nouw sets oun the British empire is precisely this: your spelling counfused everyoune, whou then kicked you out of their countries, refusing to be your colounies any lounger.

There are very good reasons why color is not spelled colour. It's pronounced, cull or --- not cull hour. You are a frivolous speller.

alltatup They do have depth of colour, indeed and with a u my American friend. It`s this fast lifestyle you all lead. You need to add the u in you to bring the u in colour back...more time = longer words and possibly folk music which is not so good

Today has been the weekly Neem foliar day...bit of a pain but rather preventative than for mite treatment so can`t complain.
Peyote Critical Kush( Pics 1-2) No more topping, just structure into position then vertical til roughly 18" above soil ( 12" roughly above frame) and robust defol then Flip
Red Diesel (Pics 3-4) Final topping and will do the same as above.
    Both are trundling along nicely-

Funny how we brave the elements and critters to grow our weed but I wouldn't walk in certain city neighborhoods at dark.

desertdan Absolutely beautiful mate and I can even say we have badgers over here. What the hell is a gila monster? I`m assuming it`s not cute and cuddly and a play on words kinda thing...that Peyote is definitely a thing of beauty. Now that will be a good smoke

    Peyote Critical Kush (Pics 1-2)
    Red Diesel (Pics 3)
Both coming along okay. Cos of recent temps they have only been under the veg setting under the Vipars but now as it`s cooler I`ve added the bloom setting. Thanks again to Spidermite for valuable info on the Vipars-cheers mate, much appreciated.
My main mistake was topping at the 3rd node roughly-should have just left a central stem upto the frame then manifold but later grows will reflect
