Platinum Jelly 8 weeks in flower today. Really showing her fade now. Lots of cloudy but not much amber yet to speak of. Any day now.

Renovations are taking longer than expected due to life lol. I'm still staying on top of re starting my sog.
I guess this is a preview. I think you can see where I'm going lol.

First 8 flipped. Week 1.5 since flip.

Veg room slowly building stock to achieve my 2 week turnaround.

The new light is AMAZING! I can't believe how close I can put it without burning. I'm running 900 ppfd on the flowering plants. The coverage is insanely even. Love it.

Flowering plants, clones and rooted clones, mommas Tangerine Truffle Breath and Bubba Kush.

2 days later. Flowering plants got the week 3 defoliation.
rooted clones potted up and Bubba momma ravaged to the earth lol. Got some nice cuts though. I want more Bubba stock. I have plenty of the TTB.

Of note here with the Tangerine Truffle Breath.
The four plants on right were vegged one week longer than the 4 on left.
as you can see, the shorter veg is giving me a better single cola structure. The slightly older plants are more stretchy, branch and airy.
Learning when to flip for my single cola. I'm going to pack 24 in here so that is critical.

My first graft. I grafted a Tangerine Truffle Breath to my Bubba mom lol. Talk to me in 2 weeks.

Ckbrew the point is to have multiple strains sharing one root ball. For space considerations.

Beeman It's a cleft graft. Hope it works.

That’s way cool.. is that considered a cleft graft or saddle? Had a hort class in college we did some grafts on apple trees. Very interesting stuff. Read somewhere years ago you could graft cannabis onto hops technically in the same family and grow unrecognizable weed. Definitely what to see the follow up on this..

Hey Mr furnace, did you use Teflon tape to wrap the stems? If so is it better at holding in moisture than like masking tape?

That is amazing...that you can even do that...! Can anyone direct me to more posts here about grafting...cleft graft or saddle graft..I have no idea...it does seem like a very cool idea...!!!

There are no posts that I can find here. I learned it from a guy on Reddit. He has an old one with 40 strains on it.
They don't share genetic material beyond the graft site so you have defined strains at each graft.

                  Just Google it.

I am going to apologize, again...I just don't know..SO much..that grow looks great..although I don't know what either lollipopped or "ready to flip " mean....I am also wondering if the plants in the pictures (on the right) are in water..like a hydro situation....With the greatest respect here, FurnaceBoi...you obviously know your shit....It seems I'm just suck in the beginners overwhelmed category....Laughs I need a grower's dictionary..for the terms..I am endlessly interested in all of this....

Well you are in the right place. I learned everything here and then researched beyond. No question is a dumb question.

Flipping refers to switching a photo period plant from 18 hours to 12 hours of light per day. This tricks the plant into believing it is fall and begins the flower cycle. It's an indoor grow reference.

Lollipopping is removing all foliage and nodes up to the top 3.
This directs all the flowering energy into a single cola or "king" bud. When done in a Sea of Green system, such as mine, it forces the plants into a taller, single cola form so I can jam 24 plants in and harvest 6 every 2 weeks. Rinse. Repeat.

The clones or cuttings on right are in an Aeroponic clone machine. So yes water. It's a very reliable method of propagation. It's a fancy glass of water.
