Sorry I've been MIA... been super busy with outside landscaping, redoing the paper and regrading the areas, and then new mulch soon. THEN I also decided to transplant my 3 girls from 5 gallon smart pots to 15 gallon smart pots, they looked like they just needed MORE of everything. I spend soooo much time with them EVERY DAY... I think these photos will show that! I even defoliate quit often, as a first timer I was nervous at first and have been getting gutsier... I truly didn't expect them to get THIS bushy already this morning after all the extreme clipping I did last night. Strawberry Cough is my "Poly" girl and she is just stunning! Ive worked with her A LOT to keep her open and cleaned up. I'm in Michigan and when the spring weather approached and my girls got bigger, I had to add a Dehumidifier in the tent AND in the grow space in the basement. I'm finishing up the flower tent today, moving the 3 big girls over there to finish out veg for about a week, then flipping to flower. They are under 2 Electric Sky 180V3's currently at full power... flower tent has 2-ES300V3's... I have 9 clones I took from my Strawberry Cough "Poly/trileaf" and they look amazing... (because of where I clipped the clones from, there are 2 that still have trileafs!!!) 3 of them will be inside and 6 of them are going to be placed outside in a couple weeks. I didn't have luck with my first DosSiDos33, and ended up popping a new seed, she will be in the veg tent with the 3 strawberry cough clones. Plan to keep them all in 10 gallon smart pots. Here's also some manifold porn of my Green Crack lol, and Strawberry Cough. The other plant in tent is White Widow, she is manifolded also.4 x 4 Secret Jardin (Veg)

Ok so I took some bottom growth off the
mimosa evo. She has been in flower tent for about a week. I am removing these from her manifold. I only want big tops. Hopefully it works the way I want. I'm going for quality over quantity on this .
here is where I put the clippings.
this is the 1st time trying this out. Homemade by me.
I have it on 24hrs. I have a digital timer but man its confusing. I hope the water doesn't get to hot from pump. I have single t5 blue 20w over them.
I added clonex , a drop of superthrive, and a sprinkle of great white. Hopefully that's okay.
I'm not sure what I need to do in the next 2 weeks to keep it stable. Any tips welcome.4x4 w/ Mars hydro fc-e4800

Here's the prettiest mainline, that's Blue OG, what a champ, even tho I did break off one of her branches last week. I only broke two branches out of six plants this time, so I will have a total of 40 rather than 48 colas.
Here they are 8 days ago, and today. All topping is done, now they're growing vertically. This is week 5.Anyone can grow schwag. If you want to grow top shelf bud, study hard: https://www.growweedeasy.com

I don't know if there's really that many tops but it could be I lost count lol they were supposed to be 16 main colas pulled down to get 4 or 5 tops to come off them. The Gelato tried to listen to me but the skunk just wouldn't grow any undergrowth. So I have cut any of that undergrowth that didn't even try to grow to hopefully get the stuff that did try to grow a little kick in the ass. I'll make a post here with pics and tag you
-
MeEasy that's what used to drive me crazy about topping once, and all these colas and leaves would emerge all over the place, and I couldn't control it. I feel like I have better control over using my grow space to best advantage when I mainline.

Harvested today. Strain is 'Sweet Pink' by breeder JD Short of Second Generation Genetics.
Blueberry genetics often display foxtailing. I feel I super stressed this plant, exaggerating the foxtailing.
JD Short's documentation:
Filial Classification: F1 Hybrid.
Lineage: Pink Champagne (mother) X F4 Blueberry (father).
Flowering Time: Approximately 52-59 days.
Production: Sweet Pink is a medium to medium tall plant that
produces very well under optimal conditions. The Sweet Pink
is considered a heavy producer.
Effect: The effect of the Sweet Pink is euphoric and narcotic
and she tends to induce relaxation, munchies, daydreaming
and euphoria. She tastes like grape Bubblicious bubblegum.
Terpenes: B-Myrcene, a-Pinene, R(+)Limonene, Linalool, BCaryophyllene.
THC: 18%

I got a high just looking at that plant :O
-
kind words, thank you panalilies
-
They look awesome. I was doing some research on foxtailing, and it's given a bad rap much of the time when it's a common characteristic of many strains. If you look at a bunch of Barney's Farm strains, you will see it a lot, and of course, when it shows up all over the plant, it's a natural characteristic.
"Bad" foxtailing may be out there, but natural foxtailing buds are beautiful.

So it has been a while. The orchard needed care, the raised bed garden is getting a major overhaul, I've been out riding my bike while I still can, and this cancer stuff is taking way too much time, energy, and money. At least I am alive and feeling OK, for now.
I can still sit down and commune with my plants. This is from a couple of weeks ago. The GG #4 on the left has yet to show that it hates the nutes I give the Blue Dream (plant on the right). This photo is from a couple of weeks ago.
This is where the Blue Dream is now. I have 18 colas in progress. She likes her nitrogen hot and her lights bright. She is a greedy little pig. I flipped her 10 days ago. She's been growing an inch a day and downing 3 liters of soup while she's at it. She had been sick, but once I boosted the nitrogen she took off pretty good.
I'm have the canopy at 10"-12" below the VS 450 right now. I had her there last week with no sign of burn. I've learned I can get as close as 8" with most plants, a few as close as 6" with these lights. I'm keeping her away from the lights right now because she is growing so fast.
She's about 24" tall now. You can see how I've pruned her. This is something I started doing after talking with some local orchardists about managing the apical meristem. Long story short, if one branch gets too tall then I pull it down with twist ties and anchor it to either the pot, or the bamboo stakes I've inserted across the top of the pot. Whichever I leave as the highest, takes over. I pull tall branches down and give the shorter branches some slack. It might take more work than other methods, but I enjoy playing with the stuff.
Next up in my continuous micro-grow is my GG #4 and clones from the Blue Dream (both from Seedsman).
The GG#4 on the left started out life happy, but did not like the high nitro soup the Blue Dream loved. I had some issues there until a flush and a milder nitro solution. Now she is happy again.
If you count, you'll see I have 10 laterals in cultivation. That's what happens when I get high and prune cannabis. Oh well.
This time I do not have the bamboo sticks fastened to the pot as tie downs. With 10 laterals to manage, that meant a lot of bamboo crossing in the middle. So I made these little stakes to manage my apical meristem merriment. These are a lot of fun to make and play with when I'm high. It's whack-a-mole with plant hormones. (Note the out-of-focus GG#4 leaves behind the stakes in the photo below and see how yellow the leaves got with Blue Dream nutes before the flush and nute correction.)
These sickly little babies are Blue Dream clones of the mature mother, which I planted about 10 days ago. They are suffering from "nute confusion" on my part. The GG#4 requires a lot less nitrogen than the Blue Dream. These are at least 8 weeks out from flipping. I won't have room for them until I harvest the current Blue Dream mother. They'll have time to get better. I'm planning on 4 colas from each plant in these. That runt at the back left of the cabinet had a hard time making roots. It may be replaced by another I have in the clone soup.
This is the nursery cabinet.
Up top, I have two rooted GG#4 clones that were started the same time as the Blue Dream babies, but they have done well. The two are scheduled for seed breeding. I've been playing "Dueling Banjos" for them to set a romantic, inbreeding tone for the the upcoming nuptials. They will get flipped sometime this week.
The plant in the middle is a Do-Si-Dos seed from Pyramid Seeds. She was planted ten days ago and is doing well. She is feminized, and if I don't see any hermie signs she should follow the Blue Dream clones. I got a buy-five-get-three-free deal on these. I should drop another as insurance, I suppose. It's not like I'm going to outlast my seed inventory.
Down below I have a couple more Blue Dream Clones. I'd souped them up for breeding, but I think one of them might replace the sick girl I have in early veg. By the looks of the roots, they should be ready for planting in a couple of days.
With everything going and growing well and good, it is time to go. I think there is a bowl waiting for me. Have a great day!

Thank you SoOrbudgal. I'm new to the GG #4 strain. Interesting thing on your GG is that my girl is flowering so heavily right now that I had to check I had it on the right light interval circuit. Even her clones had flowers, but not as heavy as mom right now. Stress perhaps? She had a tough transplant -- very little root ball for the vegetation above, and the ball fell apart. Then just as she recovered from that, I gave her some of the Blue Dream nutes, and it almost killed her. So maybe it's stressed? As for getting tall, maybe that is the CFL? I use cheapy flat panel LEDs for my low-power growing, they seem to keep the plants really bushy with short internodes.

Hello again everyboody, just wanted to share my (failed experiment) two photos I'm playing with my first attempt in over 2 years to do a couple larger plants instead of my normal SOG style little ones.I was attempting to make 16 colas with multiple tops coming from them. One tried the other didn't here's a couple pics of them from a couple days ago. The good child is Gelato OG the other is Purple Skunk. I've decided to just let them grow out and take off anything that doesn't make it to the canopy.

Peyote plants are my current grow.
First one is a Peyote Gorilla from Seedsman. I almost killed it from lack of water early into flower but it has rebounded nicely and is a couple weeks away from harvest.
The second is a Peyote Critical from Barney's Farms. This is another experiment or attempt at keeping only one cola. It is almost 4 ft tall and is as big as my forearm...I know, I know my forearm is skinny but anyway it looks good to me.

flower tent is high humidity. like 60% with the exhaust fan on 10. 4in AC infinity fan. the outside of the tent, the room, its at around 45%. i literally have to have the tent door wide open and the rooms dehumidifier close by. should i get a bigger exhaust fan. like a 6in? the tent is a 2x4.
the pictures are from last night and this morning.
so last night.... i put the dos si dos 33 into flower tent. i also tied down the mimosa evo a little.
this morning...
so all these mainlines worked perfect for me. i removed a few fan leaves on about all of them to help with airflow and they were blocking light . everything is packed in here. i have a trellis net for the tent that clips on to the poles. i dont know if i will use it. not yet anyway.4x4 w/ Mars hydro fc-e4800

I had the same issue with my 4” fan. Get a 6” and you’ll have no probs going forward.

You are blowing it away with that mainline fantastic HobbitGDF
-
Crap, I broke it off, all I wanted was to bend it down a bit, a little lite training and it snapped off clean. No strings to hold it to try graft it back, so I stuck it in the soil. It will not make it, but, crap!
So whats the chance that I pulled out all photo seed from an auto photo cross, they are 4 weeks now and I see no signs of maturing. I know I have to wait at least another week for them to show. But now is the time to place your bets on how many do what! LOL3 Photos

Allot n there. Seem small 4wks. Maybe its cause cold ?
Your chances of all photos? Idk
But when you cross photo x auto = photo fast, photo, & or auto. But I'm pretty sure they will mostly be photo fast versions. If you crossed with auto again, then you'll have more % on auto.
I think this is how its works
Photo x auto = fast photo , photo, auto
Fast x auto = auto, fastLast edited by HobbitGDF; 04-30-2021, 10:18 AM.

We did have some cold weather, thats gone now, but their first week,
what have read is 25% will be like moma, 25% will be like popa, and 50% will be crosses. From that at least 25% should auto, 25% should photo, and the rest could go either way. Well see what happens!Last edited by Rwise; 04-30-2021, 03:24 PM.

Great looking grow space Flatlander i really like these builds with that reflective insulation? My photo version of zkittlez was a spralling gal wide not tall held her down with the ties. Good genes ya got there

It's hard to tell in the pic but the plant under the led, the biggest plant has her main cola tied and attached to the wall. My lights are as high as they go. She's a problem child.

well done I have 2 seedling/clone areas I made using the insulation like that good stuff there
