ID:	287556 I did notice a few leaves turned down- Only on the side where the addional fan blew directly at her.
I moved the fan to the lower portion of the fabric pot - to increase the wet/dry cycling until she gets bigger.

Most of the problems were operator error , in transplanting too soon, but she is looking good @ 3 nodes in an environment of 73f and 30%rh - Optic1xl @26.5".

She has already been fed for the anticipated growth spurt once node #3 forms- I will be topping @ the 5th node.

It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Topped at the 5th node and removed the lowest branched bud site. This creates a total of 8-10 cola's.

ID:	288663 Plant color looks much better under normal lights, but the leaves look a little too full of water-

There is a growth spurt after topping which we will want to feed with grow @ next watering along with the addition of more K (for the rest of the grow)

And now, leave the plant unmolested until it's time to LST the canopy even.

She's more green than I like to see- dark, at least it's not glossy.

Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_0067.JPG Views:	1 Size:	1.35 MB ID:	289492 I watered omitting Cal/Mag and did not add the "grow nutrient" for anticipated spurt you see after topping.
I also reduced K- as I tested my water pH @ 5.8 from tap and adding K has been bringing it over pH 7.
I prefer water going "in" to be pH of 6.0-6.2

Growing well-the leaves are blocking the entire canopy and I have decided to tuck the fans under the bud branches.

ID:	289937 Very low stress technique and I'm not certain it does anything as the bud branches would works it's way through anyways, as full spectrum lights have green- which contibutes to better light penetration.

oldjarhead100, It's one of the first signs of excess N (primary) or due to phosphorous lockout. (locking out Mag,Zinc, Iron etc)
As long as growth continues you can ride the edge, but I prefer to fade the green into flower.
N is absorded across most pH- but phosphorous lock out indicates a pH at extremes ( <6 or>7).(usually acidic)
I will stop nutrients at that point and check pH.

70f-79f and 21%rh-31%rh, with two circulation fans on low- just moving the leaves- exhaust on low (about 100cfm). 20/4 schedule.

The pic shows 3 distict color ranges for this plant- dark green lower fans- normal green in the middle fans and light green/yellowing of the top canopy bud branches.
It's common for plants to have new growth be very light green, but it usually goes away in 24hrs- this is not the case.

I recently moved the fan leaves aside to get the bud sites going which might have been too much.
I recently placed the plant in the overlap space- new light and even though I carefully measure that space, I have no reference points for what works..
The plant is drinking more water at each feeding- every other day.

ID:	291065 With all the above in consideration, this is what I'll try.

To the usual water/nutes- I resumed the K but not the single grow dose for the stretch.
The top may be from nutrient deficiency - I gave a full dose of Micronutrients to provide Zinc, Iron etc and some N.

I returned the plant to the overflap area, but 1 1/2" futher away from the CoB.
Stuck a skewer in the soil- to readily see if it's growing.

I resisted the temptation to defoliate, as it may need some nutrients from the lower leaves and those leaves are my barometer during the flower phase!

I am confused...and still dont know what the solution to my slight yellowing of new growth might be, so at the risk of being boring, here is a list of the nutrients that i am feeding the ladies

            Nutrient A Contains:

            Nitrogen N 66g/kg

            Phosphorus P 45g/kg

            Potassium K 239g/kg

            Magnesium Mg 45g/kg

            Sulphur S 71g/kg

            Trace Elements:

            Iron Fe 1700 mg/kg

            Manganese Mn 400mg/kg

            Boron B 500mg/kg

            Zinc Zn 200mg/kg

            Molybdenum Mo 50mg/kg

            Copper (Cu) 30mg/kg

            Nutrient B Contains:

            Nitrogen N 155g/kg

            Calcium Ca 190g/kg

I am feeding a mixture of these two nutrients

Am i missing something...and what would you suggest I add, to induce the recovery that you had on your yellowing new growth in the pics you posted

Got one that start it's second week of flowering (photoperiod) with lower Leaf spots and overall droopy, slow growth. Last night it was water only night so I check the out PH (5.5), against the in Ph (6.5) last water only I had found the low exit number so it wasn't a big surprise. Needless to say she got 2gal of 6.5 followed by 3 more gallons of 6.8 for a finish exiting PH of 6.0. I will feed at a high Ph number and extra water then normal next feeding to try and stabilize the root zone around 6.2 giving the plant a chance to find calmag again.

All the sighs on the leaf looked like magnesium deficiency or potassium excess which can be one in the same, but the leading cause was lockout due to PH problems. This plant did not get a proper flush before the flowering switch which has seemed to control the ups and downs in the switch to flowering.
                .
Cannabis puberty got me again! This is Great read as always Weed Pharma and a very important subject that does not get covered enough.

On a side note- I noticed a very small number of gnats (4) on the sticky- so moved her to the small tent under the Mars Reflector48.
Not worth treating, but if she stretches- the small tent won't hold her, so I want everything clear before returning her.

It's interesting that the 3 other plants in the larger tent have no gnats-but seem healthier.

No transplant- simple defoliation so the plant reduces demand on the watering by having fewer leaves to feed.
I'll take a look at the auto contest.

oldjarhead100, I would do the following to the plant which is droppy-corner plant?
                1) more oxygen to the roots by pulling soil away from the stem to the containers edge.
                2) add some type of mycorrhizae to the soil.
                3) add some sugar- like molasses for 2 weeks.
4)defoliate as it doesn't need to support all those leaves.
                5) let her dry out, then water only until the leaves start to fade in color a bit.

Time to return her to the larger tent-no further signs of bugs-every other day watering (a little droopy. OK) - still growing well-

This auto refuses to mature- long past the point you would expect.

              Having never encountered this:
I researched a number of ways to assist flowering- but bottom line, 12/12-bloom nutes etc. doesn't change the triggering of flowers for auto's.

I can wait - she will have to grow up someday!

furrysparkle, the seed is from one of my past grows- auto female Jack Herer @ Greenhouse seeds. (journal #2)

While I know there is a slight chance of getting a male, I don't know if self-polination can breed out the ruderalis (20%).

oldjarhead100, I'm tempted to place her on a window sill- as we still have 12hrs darkness for about 6 more weeks!
