I need some sort of solution for tent exhaust (mainly heat from my light, eventual odor control should be solvable with one tub of Ona Gel or the cooking smells from the downstairs neighbors would cover anything up...yuck). I bought a 6" inline fan, but upon trying to install it discovered two things:
1) The port in my tent is actually closer to 5" diameter, and I risk damaging it if I try to shoehorn the fan in there.
2) The fan is way too loud, which becomes even more important as the tent is getting moved into my bedroom, although I should only need the exhaust when the light is on. The closet is full of random crap (very little of it is actually mine) so the tent won't fit in there.
Somehow I doubt a desk fan aimed out is gonna cut it, although if I ever get the window AC unit in I can leave the tent open more which should provide enough airflow for a small fan to do a decent job. Anyone have any ideas?
