What size pots to use in a 4x4 tent???

I think the topics were all related!
All set-up, # of plants, length of veg, training, etc. There wasn't much specific to size of pots, but it all relates :)

Um, Well, You don't want to dry buds under light like that... better to keep them in the dark while drying - or at least out of direct light.

If the lights are off - at the end of the grow - the tent is perfect, but while other plants are still growing it is really not a great place to dry.

I have been using 7 gallon air pots for all my plants. But I think next grow my larger photo plants are going into bigger pots. Havent decided on size yet but some of my plants just got so big this time that 7 gallons just doesnt seem big enough. That was vegging the plants for 8 weeks though.

Oh and i just looked it up. 7 gallons is 26.4 liters if i did my math correctly. So you would be using close to what we are calling a 5 gallon pot. If growing autos, or smaller photos, that is probably fine. Alot here use 5 gallon pots. And many even use 3 gallon. I just like my plants a bit bigger than most. Just takes longer from start to harvest with a larger plant but i think it helps yields even in the long run.

Buddy of mine has used a cardboard box with some holes in it to allow air flow and had great success that way. Get creative, there’s ways, although smell can be tough to combat.

Locrian99 good suggestion!
If you had to you could put a box like that in the tent (if there is space). Box protects from light and the filter is already in the tent (I assume). Wouldn't be ideal, but much better than just hanging in the tent under light.

I like the box in tent idea. If you could make it work without taking too much space from the girls that are still growing. Loving the hacks!! :)
