What is your biggest question about growing cannabis?

I have read that chloramine will evaporate in tap water. One way to expedite the process might be to fill a 5 gallon bucket and keep turning the surface of the water using an air stone. Here at my house I use an UV light inline of the water system to kill any bacteria and the manual does say that UV light exposure will remove chloramine. But Alltatup has no problem and her plants always look FANTASTIC! Maybe it’s the chloramine !😂

if you mean in DWC, between the netpot and the water

if there are no roots showing out of the netcup, close, almost touching (so your media is getting splashed by the air bubbles bursting)

as long as roots are in the water - you can have inches of space (dependant on the depth of your res) the roots out of the water will keep themselves moist enough

Many answers to this but the bigger issue is going to be light penetration after several weeks of veg as the plant get taller and fuller. The MH will have great abilities to reach the lower sections.

Is it best to top a plant in the evening or morning when its cooler? Mine are outside for the day inside at night. Any special tips?

How important is RH? I'm in a fairly dry area and the RH in my tent is 35% right now. I know this isn't ideal but will it create an issue?

My temp is around 26 C inside the tent.

Thanks

You can get away with low rh, though plants do better in veg with higher rh. You can add a bowl of water with fan blowing over it inside tent if it worries you. It's more important to keep rh down in flower than keep rh up in veg. There are other ways to increase rh in a tent that a quick google search should find.

From my recollection. 60% veg. 50%flower. Of course a few degrees either way are tolerable but too moist is mold too dry is poor quality bud. And a holy host of other issues

Nebula, I have been using tap water to grow in DWC. I do use GH trio but am also using Cali and hydroguard. Generally mix nutes 50/60%. I do get a fair bit of brown spotting on the leaves from time to time. In your opinion do i need to use the calimag if i'm using tap water? ty

I know a lot of my grower friends use the Fox Farms trimix. Me personally, I grow all natural and rely on what I mix into my soil on indoor growing. I do the same on outdoor grows, except I’ll add a mix of brown sugar and terminator

I want to grow a vertigo strain indoor.
And is 600-watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) light enough for it?
I just read it here.

What lights are you using? And maybe a cheaper one, but with a good quality..

I use viparspectra 450w leds. I don’t know any growers that don’t. Most of my buddies just use hps in their veg tents. It’s a far cheaper route too.
