They were in 1.7 liter pots for the first 6 months. Yes, dropped 6 seeds, last February and plans changed 2 didnt germinate, 1 got cull and those two sat in veg till December. Iv been know to keep plants in veg for years! Now what's going to make you really scratch your head (besides my typo's) is the other one that is still vegging in a 4" pot that is the same age as them two.

The seeds are 5+ years old and scarce. When you have old genetics you are the keeper of lost genetics in this game. This is Blue Dream and I'm 80% sure that front plant is the Pheno I am hunting.

Awsome. Way back I veg'd for five months without proper training. It was a disaster. Couldn't wrangle em well enough. Lol. Lotsa flower though.
Cool you've been able to hold onto them. I've known people that have kept mothers for five years+. I really hope your right, and get the pheno you're hoping for!
:)
Wait, wtf...How in the hell? 4" pot? What have u done to her? Just keep chopping the top and pulling her out for shave under the skirt? Lol

Top, trim, low light, low nutrients and water often. Thats the thing about strong Genotypes, they're resilient in more way then one and worth keeping around. Iv hit 3 years in 1.7 liter with no root pruning, only lost em cause I got lazy.
She's in need of a root sawing but I haven't to date, been considering up-potting for 4ish months. Maybe tomorrow 🤣🤣

Adding a prospective picture ☝️

Transplant and moving day. Three weeks from the soaking o' the seed, 17 days above soil. no. One is about ready to top. Pots were pre-staged with soil and a solo cup hole awaiting, watered and nuted. Put a pinch of Langbeinite in the bottom of the hole. Sprayed the sides of the hole with nutes and then dusted all with some myco fairy dust. Temp of the soil though was 58F. I have heaters on them now set for 72F. Watered a bit with 1/2 nute concoction warmed to 75F.

Last of my Grand Daddy Purple photos. Looks like no. 2 is a runt. Don't usually do three at a time but did a seed starting test and no. 0 is the test standard. Growing in ProMix BX and using fortified Miracle Grow veg and bloom buster nutes later on. New light a SONLIPO SPF2000 it has better coverage than the VIPARSPECTRA P1000 I was using, it's in the smurf tent now. The new one has a 120w veg light and two 50 watt red lights that can be switched off. Growing in my 32x32x60" tent.

Ask them for lab test results on that light and see how you go....they are pretty shonky from everything I've seen.

SoOrbudgal- growing outside sounds like a dream to me, here it’s just too cold or too wet In the Fall. Legal all around here so that makes it easy. Neighbors know but don’t really care, another plus, especially since I can’t cut a hole in the side of the house to install two way air- just have to open the window now and again_ then you can smell it for about 50 yards around the house. And the house smells for a month afterwards. One time the security alarm went off when I was out mowing the lawn and the cops came by to see what was up- I had the door open, and they seemed pretty interested but didn’t say anything!
I’d get a trail cam you could set up to watch your plants, you can bet that kid has told his friends. A friend has a 12 gage shotgun thing that you load a blank into and it’s set off by a motion detector- doesn’t hurt, just scares the crap out of you!
He uses it to keep bears out of his garden😉

Mr.Furley- I’ve got some friends who are commercial growers in Oregon. Oregon got into that mess because they didn’t limit the number of permits they sold. Brilliant ? Hardly! The OLCC, Oregon’s liquor control commission strictly regulates the number of liquor licenses, why they thought this wouldn’t apply to MJ is a mystery. My friends are doing well because the THC plants they grow are in high demand by other growers so they just sell seed and clones. The rest of their crops are custom CBD with very specific cannabinol and terpenes profiles so they sell everything from flower to edibles to seed.

SoOrbudgal- so true, I’ve got some photos of a commercial farm in So. Or. I’ll post some pics for you.
