Tika Your house is as beautiful as your garden and your garden is fantastic, while I was waiting for my girls to reveal there sex I was talking with Mike the Local hydro store manager and he said he leaves his lights on 24/7 for the first 4 weeks and they will reveal themselves during that time , I thought the J Cervantes method worked really well 49 out of 51 plants were female with 2 males

About 10 years back...
We were at a large family gathering on a big farm, so all the little sub groups broke out (older folks in the house, regular folks at the BBQ, real folks at the bonfire, kids just running)

After the kids go to bed, the grownups break out the liquor and whatever 😁

Standing at the bonfire, joint passes to me, I drag and pass it to the next guy. After I pass it, I realize, it is my father-in-law, he realized who I was
I figured I was done, he took a drag and passed it on.
We have NEVER spoken of it again

Until recently
(Canadians are allowed to grow 4 now)
He asked me about getting him some seeds ("I'm looking for some cheap special seeds" he says, at the family Easter dinner table, subtle is not a word I would ever use to describe him)

And apparently I have to stop by and show him how to use a bong 😁

Poppies were just in the news here, plants not legal (but over looked), seeds are legal (becoming a problem) watch for bans on polluted poppy seed coming to a hood near you!

I new an elderly lady that grew poppies, she would give away plants with even numbers of flower petals, and keep those with odd numbers,, whats up with that?

Purple Moby Dick 2 plants 2 views of each) moving along into week 6.
The veg has 6 females so far transplanted into 5 gal SmartPots. Want 2 more females from Honeysticks Sleeve of Wizard...waiting. Seems that F1s show sex much later. Will photo the final 8 pick when done. It’s going to be a WEIRD grow/ flower because the god strains are weird and exotic. Doing feminized photos for next grow/germination as I can use the relief for a session but with a few regular Honeysticks seeds.
A note on Honeysticks: the plants are great producers of bling. The DoubleCookie x Purple Wizard is a great social balanced smoke...wonderful infact.
also researching shroom growing...presently giving me a roaring headache.

Shroom growing seems like it would be a fun rabbit hole to go down!

I'm growing oyster mushrooms right now - a little more boring, but a lot of the concepts and processes are the same. Oyster mushrooms are just really aggressive growers (they pump out defense chemicals to fight off other fungi and nematodes for instance), so it's a little easier to grow them without maintaining perfect sanitation/having a pressure canner, etc.

Actually there is Morro bay camp grounds minutes away, some street parking here for limited time....etcetc...restraints 5 in the square block...a 6th coming up and my back yard....

Good evening and happy Friday. Purple Moby Dick (dickettes) completing their 6th week from flip. Have adjusted to climbing into tent with green glasses to feed -almost every day . Then shop vac the drain to waste out. Saves my back but....will hopefully have 8 plants moving in once this is complete and selected girls going in. Back to the ol in and out and no don’t go there🙄. Will take photos of the veg as I said when my girls are final. Think I said before the F1s are taking the longest to sex...that’s Sleeve of Wizard which has a good report but I only have 1 female and 6 waiting to show. This will be a strange flower...phenotypes vary so much. In that regard having 2 of the same breed to harvest will be a pleasure. Can’t believe I’m running 4 p600s on 2 plants...why did I do that? Next week one of my sons and wife and grand dog are coming for 3 days. Have to move the veg plants downstairs to the back veg space because someone is to delicate to sleep with the fluorescents on....although muted. Then another someone will have to help me haul them back upstairs..8 5gal pots wet. The tent takes no challengers .

Wow Tika your plate is full. My guests when they visit will now have the pleasure of sleeping in the "tent room" I will not have it operating but it's ugly addition but it's best place. On our patio roof which I can access through a slider off our bedroom (tri level house) it's a flat top. I get the best all day sun up there but later in the summer it's way to friggin hot. I use to carry ( with help ) all my weed pots up 2 flights to set them out for vegging. Sister I feel that ache with ya! We had a phony hint of summer for a couple weeks and my 4 sick autos that were tortured this winter by snow/power outages then LED blew I had no other choice cause that's where the sun and heat were. I scraped by to get them finished with only 2 quart jars to show for it, but it's fine weed I'm happy with it. You have such a talent and knowledge of growing I just look forward to seeing your grows every week. BTW when I was a teenager I grew up in So. Calif. left when I was 20 for Oregon. But we use to camp in Morro Bay and I still have a old friend who lives in San Louie Obispo. Back then we felt safe sleeping and fooling around on the beach as long as we had plenty of company around us. Just good old fashion all out parties, no harm no foul play. This was in early 1970's.

very nice tika ,I was giving my wife a hard time about using the table space for her flowers and such in the GH (i was only joking) then later she said she tried to give me as much room as she could , I told her she didn't have to because it would be easier to carry a 2 foot stool and a empty bucket to sit on when I top and tie down the girls outside ,Id rather move a 5 gallon pot 2 feet than upstairs
