Tika’sGarden of Earthly Delights

@ SOORBUDGAL I take a picture with phone/ tablet then send it to my email on computer then I can upload it to gwe , so what have you been doing for forty years ,I retired years ago but when I worked I to was real careful about what I posted because of my Job Maintenance Supervisor for the Orange Line in Boston , My last day I was getting ready to leave so I fired one up in my office and walked out the building with it in my mouth lol

I have great respect for RNs,after being in Hospital for 78 days when I went in I was a big boy at 370 and they had to turn me every two hours or sooner depending on pain level so a whole troop of them would come in because I couldn't help at the time , I got out weighing 290

My other hobby :-), bog lilies

when I was in the corps when we had chicken the gull population would be drastically reduced , I'm not saying the chicken was gull but it was pretty funny its nice seeing summer flowers now thanks tika

Tika mine still aren't in bloom. I know they are ornamental poppy the plants in my perennial raised beds seem to of loved the 7+ days of snow over 2ft. here where I live unusual amount lasted way to long for most. I know it's nothin for you all in the East but it shocked us into reality. Anyhooo I didn't hardly loose any plants nor bushes they are thriving. I don't have that lavender third poppy but do have orange pink and red. My fragrant lilies are about 20inches up , peonies are huge plants compared to last spring I hardly had a bloom. Day temps are good now but nights i'm still in mid 30 lower 40. Hurry up I keep telling Nature LOL

I had to mow my front lawn yesterday ,it smelled like hyacinths my favorite spring flower , the neighbors must of thought I was nuts bending down no laying down to smell them

You know growing poppies is legal but having them in my yard sometimes worries me more than anything. They can decide to charge you and not shit you can do. Does anyone else worry about that? Legal but not legal depending on the asshole cop who shows up?

I mean what can you even do with 4 poppie plants?

Well...back to the seagull getting the fast track...electric co came out and installed some new units including bird protectors? ( new power line would have been better-we certainly pay for it here with PGE.)Another woman & myself bagged him & disposed. That’s all on that neighborhood event.

The Veg regular seeds: I am getting some females already (3 1/2). From BCBuddepot ...Bubba god & Tuna god. I am wondering if f1s are slower to show sex? So have 5gal pots ready for who ever shows first. 6 would be great. Hope my Honeysticks proves out.

2 Purple Moby Dick: completed 4 weeks in flower tent from flip; now too heavy for the in and out of the tent til necessary are on their plant risers like oldjarhead100 uses...then the shop vac to suck the drain to waste. Approaching everyday fertigation. Pics are of her...no pics of the veg as pretty boring right now / about 25 remaining.

Had a (first time) event here “Bring Your String” with 9 folk total...2 brought (guitar and baritone ukulele). Ukulele person has never played with or before other people. So big lunch, wine, beer, Double Cookie x Wizard Punch and a little poppy juice💪 Smoked with a female friend who(m) I’ve known for yearssss for the first time. It was a fine day. Next time drumbeat and dulcimer to be included.

Some pics of the above mentioned and hope hope all is well with my “besties” 🤓🤗😘

Beautiful poppies. I love those plants. Nothing like seeing acres of them in one spot. The sight is almost overwhelming. So much color and beauty in one spot.

And of course your other plants are awesome as always.

On a side note, speaking of smoking with someone you had known for years. My brother and I smoked our first joint, the first year after I retired. Its a No 1 experience.
