Harvest to start in 2 weeks or so. Champing at the bit per usual planning the next drop (to curb myself). Preparing the mix, need to pre moisten with plain water and 5mgs of CaliMagic @pH 6 then drop seed into root riot and then into the pre moistened pots. Standard procedure. If seeds are good I will get %100 germination. Backbfil with the coco perlite once the stem gets leggy...and off into sexing. ( don’t go there)
This round is different: I actually ordered ( I think I said) regular seeds from BCBudDepot ( the god bud love hate relationship in my history/journals. ) exotic indeed.

Tika I run a razor down the sides of mine and open them up like a biskit way easier to get seed in lol, very nice to see green thank you for that
 
Last night was a confluence of events

Full moon (worm moon, for fishing and farming folk)
Moon at perigee (closest to earth) - sometimes referred to as a Super Moon
And the Equinox
 
That is a very interesting article. It contradicts alot of what I have read. However its closer to what Ive started doing.

I start after trimming drying on racks. I do this now at 61 degrees 50% humidity. As soon as the outside feels dry I go to paper bags about 3 inches deep. They get moist feeling at first. When the outside again feels dry I put them in cardboard boxes. They then get a bit damp. I move them a few times a day until they feel dry again. Then to jars. I do burp the jars a week or 2 then let them ride.

Since ive started this the terpenes seem to be much stronger. The smell, taste, and smoothness is alot better. I still am working on the perfect dry and cure but ill get it. I have lots of chances to perfect it as someone is almost always in line for a good dry and cure.
 
Me too!! I dry on rack-hanging..coming to a theater near you...then to buds only open air trays then in and out of jars until I hit (the current hygrometer reading). My point was yes...interesting. I never dry or cure a molded but- they go straight to trash and I have never gotten mold with in my jars. I suspect ED is discussing ...by my standards massive yields.

But thank you for the post. Several of us here have been discussing the best way to preserve terpenes. We have all decided that under 65 degrees is best. Which that article clears up. Throw as much reading as you can my way. Im kind of a nerd when it comes to learning a trade. I bore the hell out of my wife but I can never learn to much.

I found that very interesting Tika thanks ,I noticed he said to not cure in jars but did not say what to cure in or I missed it LOL I use a drying rack in cellar it takes about 3 days until I lose sufficient weight to put in jars ,then slowly burp down to 62 percent RH
