Sorry_ should have re read that one before I posted it ! So what I meant was are you making your own honey sticks as part of your edible repartee?
Last winter you sent me your tincture recipe and I've used it a bunch of times_ thank you. I also was wondering if you aren't making your own "honey sticks" if instead that was some new strain you're growing?

Oh- no I am not making vape cartridges...I have a few years ago-weren’t to good 🥴 I’m just growing the strains...make Kief , butter, tinctures. Glad you found the tincture recipe useful. It’s so easy and effective. Have a dog friend who is benefiting from it as well🐶

Wow, a dog taking tinctures? I might have to recommend that to a friend who's poor dog has all the aches and pains of canine aging_huh..maybe aging period.
anyway I'll do that. Its fun growing new strains. My grow space is really too small for six plants but for some reason I just keep going with that. This time I have 3 70-80% sativa; s that have gone wild and way larger than expected. Things seem to be under control since the stretch has finished, fingers crossed. Thanks!

Apparently they are not attempting sub lingual (preferred) but drop down the road throat. They are quite pleased with it.
Yes...sativa take up space for sure! I like at least one good sativa in the grow...have a (Nirvana) coming Jock Horror which is quite divine.
Today brewing some cannabis salve ( rainy day so can’t work my landscape job) still trying to find the ideal super strong recipe.

Tika_ I'm not sure if you're looking for a stronger salve or for making edibles (or maybe both?). I can make rosin and am going to try making some edibles with it, and very carefully see what happens...I'll start with a strain with a 1:1 ratio( at least 7-12mgs CBD) and go from there. Objective is very little to no "taste" with more "impact". It might work for topicals too.
I'll get back to you with the results of this "experiment" if your interested. Cheers!

Looks like you might have to go get some more cheese cloth! Dang the dirty dishes too. Anyway you using coconut oil for the salve base? Maybe with some kind of fragrance enhanced with terpenes from oranges, limes, pine, floral elements...something like that?

Canuck147 LurkingInTheGrass ZigZag. LOVE YOU folk🤣😂. Ingriedents on label...avatar I swiped somewhere on line btw...no one has sued me yet.
i did use 3 OZ of bud that stored well/still good -had to go. The addition to the salve is soy lecithin ( which I always add to my butt ugly boobie cookie mix . It was granular and the recipe called for liquid. Did granular. There is also sunflower lecithin I haven’t tried. I ALWAYS declare soy in my cookie gifts since some folk are allergic to it. ( if I get Sulfa I will be dead in three minutes) Anyway Arnica, Cannabis, soy lecithin all sleep together beautifully. I did not add Arnica to this brew-pure bud. Chose grape seed oil as it is good for the skin as is coconut oil and DAMN I forgot to add to label a little beeswax.
so: the deal is...if you don’t use it on a regular basis until you find your relief threshold it won’t work. Kinda like Motrin. Peeps think it should be immediate, packaged in a lovely container & smelling good.
And....if one is going to consume cannabis either in tincture, edibles, or salve it is beyond my ability or wont to administer special flavors. .kale doesn’t taste so good either.
I love Eucalyptus, lemon, and some peeps hate it so I keep it simple and plain and hopefully effective.
i wouldn’t buy a salve or lotion or Arnica from a commercial company. Under brewed with expensive containers. But then...no one likes wearing gloves to bed smeared in cannabis or Arnica crept for me🥴 and my other cosmetic is super glue for the cracks in my fingertips that hurt like hell! From the nutrients and cleaning products.
last line of the day and to this rant...I used to be a fashion model in San Francisco...I know cosmetics.

Tika_ I can relate to why you wear the 'healing" gloves to bed!. When I'm in a kayak all day my hands are constantly getting wet ( salt water), then dry then wet_off and on all day, too many times to count. Can't wear gloves or I couldn't do my job. My wife told me about the gloves, got me some and some lotion. Well know I'm gonna make some of my own_ thank you! Yup, I hate it when my fingers start cracking, splitting and then you have to worry about infection. I've been using that liquid bandaid stuff which works for a while but I never thought of using super glue_ though I should have because the liquid bandaid stuff certainly smells like super glue. Looks like you guys are getting some snow...suppose to be coming our way too. Cheers to you and stay warm this winter.

Tika When should I start looking to sex the plants I am now but I just wanted to know about how long ,this not knowing is driving me nuts lol

For me oldjarhead100 I start to look at four weeks from drop of seed. That’s the wishful part. I am approaching 7 weeks from drop..still have 2 undeclared. Have been able to find the typical “stemmed ball” of male, including herms (damnit) .currently I loupe every day. I have found..not cloning or doing temp change or forcing with light change that:
A. The plants must be transplanted pre- topped, into 5 gal smart pots at about 4 weeks. If I leave them in the 5x5x6” plastics they stunt growth and don’t show sex...I can hear the boos but that’s my personal FACT...and a royal pain in the ass.
B. For me the ratios of 50% females is not true.
C. Also the misnomer that males after topping shoot up really fast and tall is not so...I’m sending beautiful bushy boys to Jesus as we speak and have had too tall suddenly girls.
D. It is often difficult to tell at the V of fan leaves if it is new growth or male ball emerging. until the male ball gets a stem ...and then there is / can be
a female elongated oval ( before pistil arrival). And usually a herm
SO my very good friend....at 47 days from putting seed...I’m still double checking...32 or so (100% germination) I have 8 to be verified ( not herms) females . Plus I backed up with one Jock Horror and one Jack Herer to be safe.
To conclude- I have to transplant into 5 gal pots before I can observe sex and that is one ritious investment. But then pull the root mass of the male...and transplant into the 5 gal pot the next hopeful

The Limpin Louies have been asking for a transplant for a week now but the bloom has up to 2 weeks left so I topped and tied down them all, oh the pressure lol I'm at 3 weeks from transplanting them so I should have a couple of more weeks before I can tell . I was trimming plants up Friday and I saw a pistil oh boy I said then I realized it was an Auto lol

what about just dropping the topping into a solo cup with some water, and put that in a cardboard box with some CFLs on 12/12.
Won't the cuttings (not quite clones) show sex?

there was a post in the last few days. somebody was just putting their cuttings into solo cups and getting roots

I guess I could but I haven’t learned the process AND what I also wish to see is the structure of each plant/ growth nodes/ as well as pistils. And I top as soon as I can get into the V without disturbing the new coming growth.
IF I had space, cheap electric...I would work in a few clones but right now real estate is expensive.
Will post soon the 5 females and the two feminized I have...all the rest went to Jesus...males or herbs. The good part of the hard way is that I sure as shit can tell the difference🙃😛🤔❤️
