Buds look fabulous Tika - still with the regular seeds eh? Must be cool growing strains that aren't really available yet. Off to take care of my two-legged girl. The furry girl will follow.

Tika those look amazing as usual , I love the purple buds I pulled out an auto yesterday Dark Devel and it was purple couldn't see it under leds .what a great surprise, I had a request for some limin Louie from an old friend so changed my plans a little and started a bunch of seeds got a ton of tails so I put them in root riots and they all popped ,I now have 18 limpin louies I am doing all the things jorge cervanties says to get more females . only need 4 plants so lots to choose from lol
 
OMG_ first I thought you said you had sifted 15lbs of buds! Still it must have been a long sift session...long seasons like that with lots of dry ice tend to catch up with me the day after and then....well just need to take a few good hits of my hard won product!
Sounds like you're making some of this for Holiday gifts? That is very generous of you...all the extra work_ I just get some one pint mason jars, fill with a nice selection of flower, put a ribbon on it and call it good! You rock!
 
Tika, Love the pics_ lovely grow. I like the idea of using the white bucket to catch the sift but how do you keep the fine stuff from coming out the top of the bucket. I tried that last night and still got "gold dust" on my pants and the table? Just kept coming up around the edges of the bag and then out of the bucket....maybe I was shaking too hard?

oldjarhead_ I 've got the same thing going...lots of curved bud in the freezer but when that becomes overwhelming I take it out and make dry ice hash. Its worth the trouble and takes up a lot less space in your freezer!
 
I remember...last Fall or Winter?... you mentioned you were going to grow some F1's from a commercial grower from seed...looks like that has been going well for you. Congrats. I like growing those F1's too. Its really interesting to see how the different phenotypes express themselves...sometimes as different as night and day. Will the grower you're working with be distributing to dispensaries, selling seed stock or both? Those strains sound yummy!

I bitch, moan, gripe about the extended process of sexing regulars BUT as you indicate it is such an interesting ride! All their seeds germinate for me the way I do...and then...we move on - declaration of sex is NOT soon-male or female. One thing I’ve noticed is that the aroma is profound by week 3-5 male or female. I don’t use Terpinator any more as I enjoy the reality of their genetics. And...tho not always a big yield-a sound grow once I get the “damned bitches”.
. And yes! Pheno different -which is interesting indeed.

I’ll say it again good buddy...I sleep to close to chaos not to calm myself with order ( and a bit-a bit of control). We’ve been together from the start-always makes me happy to know we are still connected.

@mcubed476...it was a fun ride light bleach and all and @the_honeysticks appreciates my results which feels good. ..of course. As I have said...this not an easy nor economic process...sexing - BUT having done European fems from day 1- the challenge is rich with surprises. Hybrids...I have found that my “folk I gift” (older than me) are doing 59/50. Wanting a touch of sativa dominant in their diet -as stanch indica bruisers. I consider that a benefit of “crafted” bud😘

oldjarhead100 I am eager to hear of your progress with your “sexing technique” is that still happening? I love root riot- i germ in it directly in coco/perlite... with a 99% rate if good seed never let the root see light.
Thank you for being a steady hard-ass grower and for staying in company. You are a great -hardworking grower that I appreciate very much.

And yes you guys...Kief takes a lot less space. I still hate doing the shake but the rewards are applicable to smoke, spliffs, butter, gummies...etc.
 
ZigZag YES the waste is a bitch.my top is only 25” x 45” it has been recommended to me to shake INTO a LARGER bucket directly but...I am not. I use the bucket to do the initial Sirius 5 minute shake then shake over platform. The bucket just holds the bag as I rest after the initial (bitch of a ) 5 minute shake. I HAVE found- thanks to an old friend) freezing the bud/trim in brown bag ( makes a weird weed brick) to further release the trichomes with the dry ice. I have found the resulting Kief to be cleaner and I only use one of the harvest bags. As well I think I am the only woman in my area that has a green canister in her vac🥴
 
Just moving along here. Happy with fat leaves. Papillons minus one- Nik center but ....always big in my heart.
