The Great Auto Showdown

I used to use the black fabric but stopped and went on to mulch hay .I know mulch straw is better but to expensive for me ,so far the hay is working great it blocks most of the weeds ,we will have to wait and see how things do
 
one of the woods girls hermied on me and grew balls ,good root zone though I couldn't pull it out of the pot, and the other thing I noticed the pots that are set on the ground will grow roots though the bottom of the pot, if it isn't one thing its another lol
 
I have some hey thats 30 of so years old, but I also have sow bugs (rollie pollies/pill bugs) and they would luv that! also slugs etc

Just a random update. 2 P98 Bubba Kush fro new420guy as usual. One had a little stretch. Other than that basically identical. Little droopy from just watering with first dose of nutes. Can’t wait to see them in a few days! Currently 11 days I believe? Ehh somewhere around there. I’m more a “by eye” kinda guy now. Numbers make things to complicated. But I’ll use them when necessary 😉 all your grows look pretty spectacular imo. Hopefully be back in the ranks sooner than later. Wish me luck!!

Oh oh and the random one you see in the background is 1 of 4 other baggies I’m growing cause it’s all I had ha. I’m keeping them on the dL until I know the sex. 😏 😏

hey John its more of a friendly bet ,we help each other and talk about everything you dont need to have a bunch of grows in to join ,if you have anything growing now you qualify I think lol
 
I was in the GH yesterday and I happened to notice one of the manifolded plants had brown on the stem, so I took a closer look and I found a total of 3 spots it looks like bud rot WTF I cleaned the stems best as I could but plan on doing a defole to make sure they are getting good airflow,any other ideas would be appreciated
 
Did you check the stem for tiny holes? Here we have squash bugs that will lay eggs in the stem. They larvae will eat the base of the stem and kill the plant. If you find the holes take a razor blade and cut those suckers out
 
Going for a staggered grow - Sweet Tooth will be ready in a few weeks, Think Big is doing just that - she'll be around well into August.

THC Bomb - Candy Kush - Chemdog - all around 40 days - they should be finishing end of August.

6 more growing - all about a week or so - 2 Candy Kush - 2 Chemdog - 2 Bubba Cheese - they should be finishing end of September.

I'll start 4 more at the start of August - hopefully I'll have enough in jars I can close my tent for the winter.
 
I am waiting for some fem seeds to arrive from Seedsman with decent genetics. Also heading to Canada's west coast for a couple weeks in September. After that its time to start grow 2 and get in on the fun. Thanks for the encouragement.
 
Ill check them more closly but as I cleaned the stem off I didn't see any I hung one fan but need to do 3 more to aid in them having a steady breeze
