The Great Auto Showdown

So, today I took them out and cut out 90%+ of the destroyed leaves and have upped the watering a bit. They’ve been getting folier fed twice a day. I’m trying to promote new growth on them. My girls have been in intensive care and just had another surgery. Here’s some before and after pix. I just can’t give up on them. They’re still my babies.

if you give her a little extra N increase humidity and keep her cooler than normal by just a little it should influence her to be a female ,all this has to be done the moment she gets her third set of true leafs

So I’m not trying to be a negative Nancy but even if you are able to revive them, will the yeild still be worth anything? Just curious.

The temp is something I am fighting to keep down, maybe this near 0*F weather will help,,,
So some chicken poo tea, extra RH (I am usually 60% or higher naturally below that I make soup)
I will be watching for that third set,,,thanx!!

Seems odd that some can and some cannot upload, I wonder if its device pacific
I am using a laptop with open suse 42.2.2 and firefox, and all is well.

I’m giving them till this weekend and if I don’t see new growth and improvements I’ll gonna put them. Juicyj89 I’m right there with ya. Covering the cost of electricity to grow two low yields wouldn’t be worth it. Im just gonna try and give them a fighting chance. They were gonna be monsters, but now.....FUUUUUUUCK!

Yeah bro that freakin sucks for real. You def put a lot of work into those things. It’s crazy how something like that can happen. But I do wish you the best of luck friend! Maybe they’ll pull through for you!!!!

I was talk to my buddy Rich today about this whole thing. This is not only a competition, but different growing and caring techniques to learn from one another. My plan is, if all goes well, to see them through this.
I took off all the sugar leaves, but have upped my molasses content on their feeding to make up for their loss. I’m also going to start folier feeding them fish emulsion twice a week along with a 1/9 alcohol spray. The way I started them in unorthodox, so I’m relying on years of knowledge from growing outdoor photos to bring the girls back and to have them thrive. It’s all going to depend on the next week really. Saturday they were caused more stress than any plant could handle and the only a couple days later were basically lollipoped which caused a shit load of more stress. My hope is that I’ll be able to still have a couple of beautiful girls who’ll be named PHOENIX 1 and 2.

just had to share, and display some stretching :D

Thing 1:
was treated the harshest - so, Im ok with her being behind (even though she is 7 days older)
I stopped counting at 13 tops/tips
a compact little 6" tall

Thing 2:
I was easier on her, having been all heavy handed with Thing 1, then almost breaking her main stem :D) - she did get some training, as much as I could do, while she healed :D
she has 5 almost 6 colas of similar height (LOL almost 6, the next one down, is close to 2 inches shorter). there are some good sized stems, but there are alot of "OMG - is that going to grow enough, to hold itself up?"
I would say a good 5-6 inches, has been 'stretch' just in the last 3 days. a couple of times, I swear I could see and hear her growing :D
she looks all sad and droopy, because I was in her, tucking down leaves, before I decided to take pictures

starting to get the first wispy hints of smell...
musky - maybe earthy. not enough really to tell. just enough to stop and hunt for the smell
