The Great Auto Showdown

Juicyj89 I’m doing the flux method because of the size of my grow area. My last grow of widows didn’t have enough room and I was literally breaking branches and taping them to shorten my girls and I only had 2 in there. There was so much twisting and folding it was crazy! If I’m lucky with my training I shouldn’t be more than 2-2 1/2’ tall, all colas. 3’ max. I’m also hoping to get 20oz per plant too if all goes well.

The freak is showing growth, she has 2 new tops coming in!

Anyone make their own foilar spray (calmag)?

Foliar Feeding Spray Homemade

20 washed egg shells (can be toasted to kill bad stuff)
1 gallon water
1 Tbsp Epsom salt (may be able to up this to 2 Tbsp)

Add egg shell to water in a pot, bring to a rolling boil, cool 24 hours (letting egg shell steep)
Strain to get rid of shell fragments, add Epsom salt. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

Method 2; Fill a gallon jar with water, place egg shells in it and steep for 1 month, filter, add Epsom salt,,,,

Ye gads, that`s a right royal rogues gallery in that line-up if ever there was one. Like GWE`s own Hole In The Wall Gang. Wishing everyone all the best :)

Cannabis plants love their sweets - ? - I Foliar feed - with Foliar Essence, cane sugar based. Next week I'll start my spraying.

Thing 1 is up!

OJH, I didn’t know you could still get the original strain, just the jock horror like I have. If I had some true jack I’d have to grow her outside in one of my fields. I’ve seen pix of them 15+’ tall with buds the size of my arm!

Oh well anyways, I’m sure a lot of you already know this but for those who don’t, he told me yesterday that if your growing an auto that stays small, such as White Moscow, that you should use a at least like 7 gallon pot so that they can reach their full potential. Remember, he said this. Not me. But I’d take his word for it. Any input is welcome.

Okay so question, with my 4 seedlings I have a random GE Glowstik Gro & Glo or something right now. It’s only like 18w or something. I also have a full t5 grow light that is 8x24w HO 6500k. I can run 4 or all 8. Should I just go ahead and use this? Or would it still be too much? TIA!!

Went with the t5s. Ready to see some green!!

It looks like I am starting to get a new sets of leaves on these baby girls however I am concerned. It looks like they are somewhat discolored to me. I have one 315watt cmh running right now about 5 feet from my sprouts and have been using a ph 7 water in promix hp soil. Should I be worried? First time growing and could just be overacting but it does seem to be discolored. Thanks for any help!

I’m sure anyone would tell you it shouldn’t be wet like that while the lights are on. Especially I high powered one. Apparently the water droplets act as a magnifier for the light and burn your leaves. Could be the cause of discoloring. Just my 2 cents.

I think for only 4 plants you can use only 4 bulbs and spread them plants under the on ones, once they grow wider than the 4 bulbs then turn the rest on. That’s what I would do
