The Great Auto Showdown

hmm ok thats what i was thinking. Im gonna start two and label them thing 1 and thing 2 and if both female i go with the first one i picked.
 
We have been reading, and dont know if we should enter. We dropped 3 seeds on the 20th from N420G, each of us chose a strain to plant, oh, the 3 of us, me myself and I. Me chose Headbanger as we must see if it lives up to its name, Myself chose white mosow for several reasons, and I chose white widow for its reputation. All are auto fems, all are in our own soil, 20 gallon smart pots, all organic, and all I can do for now is CFLs (better lighting is in the future!). We will start 3 more strains just before Christmas, and 3 near the end of January, and February!
So which one should we enter?
 
Rwise I've grown all of the seeds you mentioned from Paul at New420Guy, plus alot more of his autos.
Chems Sister was my favorite, but he has no more of those seeds,
But the Headbanger is a great choice, gets kinda large an is great potent smoke, imo.
But the White Moscow an WWidow are great to.imo.
I'm not the best grower by any means, either, but I got pictures of all the plants I've grown from Paul.
Anyway, whatever you choose, you will do a great job, I'm sure.

Start date is the 1st. There’s a few ppl still dealing with trying to get their seeds in time too and I think there’s 1 or 2 that are started already. We’re just trying to make this a fun learning experience for everyone. It is a autofem only competition tho buddy. As you know, not everyone is gonna finish at the same time anyway. So, if you wanted to order some autofem seeds and start a bit behind that’ll be cool. I’d love to see your grow. It might be a pain since they are on 24/7 light schedule and I’ve seen your light rail for your photos.

What I would do is read from the start of our thread and see what everyone else is growing. We want to try and have as many DIFFERENT strains as possible. I don’t remember seeing anyone choose headbanger or white Moscow. I just finished my ww auto grow. I’m waiting to hear back from nirvana on if I should choose blue cheese or jock. Since others are doing jock and jack I’ll prolly go w the blue cheese since no one has chosen it.

oldjarhead100 yeah you can get regular auto seeds, I know Paul sells auto regulars for a dollar a seed.
Personally, I'd love to see you grow one of your LimpinLouies, I'd love to get my hands on some of those beans.,one of these days.
I've got a bunch of the old landrace Oaxacan sativas, some from way long ago, some not to long ago, maybe 3-4years ago, Last time we grew some of these Oaxacan seeds, they got over 12-14 feet tall,with stalks as big as the large end of a baseball bat.
They got so tall, we had to bend them over and stake them down with ski ropes, lol
I'm not joking either.
Maybe if or when you come down here hunting, we can do some exchanges.

oldjarhead100 he was growing regular auto seeds. We have a few growing photos for comparison. A photo cant beat an auto in the contest. I think we have more than 1 growing photo and I want to see the difference. But no a photo cant beat an auto on yield or on bud size. However if someone can get a photo to finish from start to finish in 80 days or less and actually be done I might name them the master. Lol
 
Rwise just label headbanger as thing one, white Moscow as thing two and white Widow as thing 3. Probelm solved. Not sure how many thing 3s we will have but know we have alot of thing twos.

Start date is on average December 1st. These are autos so starting early or starting late will not affect the end results. Autos are done when they are done unlike photos so starting early would not give anyone an advantage.
 
Only Masters ,i know, aint on here no more.
But there is plenty of great growers on here , I'd name then to, but I do not want to leave anyone out, like I'm sure I would do.
But I would start with Tika, as the best on GWE!!
 
D.A.A.S.69 I honestly wouldnt know what an actual master grower would be for inside grows. Not a clue. I could have pointed some out for outside in the past. But they have all gone to the great garden in the sky.

I can just picture what my Papaw would have had to say about all this high falutin inside growing. He would have looked you square in the eye and told you that if you cant grow enough outside with what God gave you then you need to go work for someone who can. Lol But he was a hard core died in wool farmer.
 
My Family from both sides, were straight up Farmers, ALL, their lives,
That's why my Great,Great Grandfather moved from that poor ass, non fertile red dirt, that would grow nothing much.
And moved our people to the MsDelta, where it is fertile.
I remember them saying many times, when they would reach down in that soil and pull out a handful to examine, that that soil was richer ,than 3foot up a hogs butt,.
 
Yep they loved this area of the country. And those old guys could grow anything and nothing would ever stop them. My Papaw went and worked the fruit stand at the peach orchard at 99 years old. Went home had a bunch of greens made with fat back and ham hock and went to the great garden in the sky that night. Happy as anyone you ever met. Never once would he have thought about having it any other way.
 
Redwasp, Retodd, So I'll be growing 2 White Moscow since I'm in the middle of a WM perpetual grow. I'll tag each seed Thing 1 and Thing 2 before starting germination. I'm going to soak them on Aug. 8th. The nice thing about this showdown is we all win.

I'm pretty sure our old buddy uncledoug might have been one toke over the line.
