Special "titles" for users, what do you think?

We really need to start chatting it up more. I am VERY intrigued by autos. If not for my desire to Dr Clone and even maybe create some genetics one day down the line, the ease and flexibility of auto is just so damn tempting to keep running
 
Good point Green...I often miss threads or loose where I am..see things late.
this is my first forum ( and likely only forum)..still learning the ropes.
Being a coco grower..would there be a way for newbies to easly subscribe/ follow coco growers only?
not to speak of adding in "mainline", "LST" "Top" "FIM" so people could have a route to what they are doing themselves for immediate research not that they should disregard all the other means of growing
 
Maybe just my nature,...I am not too keen on anything that is too competitive. Junior member doesn't say much, so II would go for something that might list the number of grows. And not judging how "successful" they were, considering that might be hard to gauge. Just keep it simple, and helpful for those who are new to the forum please. 😊🌻🌱
 
I do like seeing the join date and the post count. Maybe do away with the junior member and the red bars. The date and post count says it all as far as how active a member is.

In place of the junior member and the red bars could be a place for each poster to fill in as they please. examples: "Twenty year soil grower", "first time DWE grower", "Looking to learn" , "second coco grow underway". It would have to be an honor system thing. If someone wants to brag that they are more experienced than they really are, then so be it. Just give us X number of characters to give our growing experience a very brief description.
 
I cant imagine that dropping a seed in an outdoor garden, coming back in 3-4 months, cutting and hanging the weed anything too difficult. Yea you are a confirmed harvester but really? Not taking anything away from the magic weed. Or the ability to grow it. I get what you are saying. Look, I have seen some real piss poor looking 2 gram plants that should have been chopped months before paying all that electric- but its harvested and smoked- and maybe tasted like shit and got you high but meh...its still not growing orchids lol. Sorry Green75 but you put yourself out there now...

General Green would be my title for you. EARN IT BITCH would be the undertitle. Its fitting :)

Some may have a bit of an issue recalling grows LOL. I can list my strains over 3 years
Also..being a pragmatist
People can post what ever they want..doesn't mean it is true
 
I recommended categorizing these topics in areas that we can browse. Instead of searching, hit the TRAINING tab and get the LST top fim etc etc etc posts. Journals go to journals etc. whatever. i love this place.
 
I think it's getting out of the point of the junior member question.....It has to be posts made for a count, and that would change the junior to something better ( I like the progression of growing some BUD! )
 
I'm digging this option, because it gives growers the freedom to have what they feel fitting on there, and it wouldn't intimidate new growers, I'd say.. seems very easy going and simple! I like it!
 
Wow I missed a good topic today! I belong to a forum where we have "the original cast" that original members of the board were dubbed. I like all these ideas tho guys!
 
I do like the ideas of a newcomer like me, have a title for that, another for first grow. Also knowing what type of growing medium current and past would be cool.

Actually, recognizing seniority and participation would be cool. Recognizing number of likes would be cool too.
 
Experienced growers on this forum can see through the Bullshit if someone tries to toss it. Is how other members react to certain members responds to questions that tells the real story. Stick around a forum for a little while. You know who knows what.
