LOL tough skinned I reckon. I could not without 2 layers of clothes. Next week looks like the East will get hit hard:no-way:

Thought I saw weather for middle of next week east is going polar starting around wed.? Get your tanning in now LOL

Lol
I used to live in Calgary
Winters were easy (2 hours north, a different tale indeed). It had cold snaps, but overall, seemed short (especially compared to East Coast)

1 year, Christmas day, it was so green, golf course was open

I have also seen a good 2 inches of marble sized hailstones, in June
Years ago, the car dealerships would have 'hail sails', because of the dings

Down South is under a freeze warning right now. Temp's dropping fast, gotta stack some more wood for the old wood stove...

LurkingInTheGrass I lived in Calgary for a couple of years in the early 60s!!! It was an awesome city back then. Loved living in Canada.

Didn't the Donner party get stuck in the snow? Your MTS is a kind of like wagon train. Good luck getting through without eating anybody?

I am born and raised in Alberta. Lived in both major cities, up north and central parts of the province too. Also a short stint in BC's lower mainland. Many very interesting areas.

Canuck147 JohnEmad I loved Canada; we used to go to Baniff and it was so beautiful. I was just a kid around 10, but my memories are so vivid of ice skating and tobogganing right near our house out in the burbs. It was so clean and felt so safe. I'd become an ex-pat in a heartbeat.

Yes it was a bummer, SoOrbudgal the drive home was insane. You know they say if it is prepared right it can taste like chicken Gingerbeard ! Lol. MTS buses we call them accordion buses because they bend like an accordion in the middle. I guess the bus got stuck and folded almost 90 degrees. Exactly alltatup!
